It's a subway. The staff tries hard but you can tell that they're either understaffed or overworked.

I walked to the counter and stood there over a minute while employees were standing at micro oven texting on there phone. They... never once even look up to say hang on sir I will be with you in just a second. I'm not trying to hate on people for texting ontheir phone while on the job but since I was in a hurry I decided that they didn't deserve my business today because they didnot they didn't acknowledge that they had a customer therefore Subway lost $10 for a text which could have been done at adifferent time I will say no more other than if your phone is more important than making money why do you even have a job havesome respect Subway employees at the surf City Subway. Also Subway you guys aren't the only ones doing this it's every fast foodplace I go in. It's hard to run a profitable business when the employees are passing up money. Read more
