I wish I had known Pizza Gourmet was known for their whoopie pies before I ordered! I would have tried those out too. Maybe next... time. As far as accommodations go, Pizza Gourmet has a shared parking lot with plenty of spaces. They have a cozy dining areathat can fit quite a few people, so don't worry about bringing a larger party out to eat. The pizza is decent. The pie had agolden brown base with a nice, fluffy crust. The sauce was tasty and the cheese was of good quality. There are a few spicessprinkled on top of the cheese which add some complexity - but I keep getting an interesting hint of cinnamon. They have some of the best pizza around, the flavor of the dough, the sauce, etc. They also have the best woopie pie around, no... question! Paul and his family are friendly and good owners, and even though we've live in Hermon for the past 15 years, westill make it over to Pizza Gourmet for good grub! Clean wonderful atmosphere. Staff are prompt and courteous. They are also willing to alter menu items to accommodate... inidividual taste. As a plus they sell Moxie!!! They also have a kid's room for children to play so definitely a familyfriendly restaurant. Food came out quickly, hot and fresh full of flavore. Fried dill pickles and munchers are divine. Calzone was great and my wife loved her sausage and meatball sub. Fries were hot and fresh. Read more
Nice soft dough very flavorful sauce with a hint of cinnamon. Pizza ready when I arrived for pick up.
