Stopped in for late lunch on a Saturday. Wasn?t too busy, but just one bartender working who was also the server. He did a great... job taking care of the guests and checking in. We shared a burger and the rattlesnake bites. Both were great and I?d definitelyorder again. Read more
The service was not good. It was Thursday night, so mildly busy. Two people were inside and 2 tables and 2 Hightops had 2-3... people. It took 45 minutes for a server to come out and take our orders. That was after we got up to the bar to go up to the barand ask about ordering and drinks. One table had already left at this point after getting no service. If it was busy and shortstaffed I would have understood, but it wasn't busy. The other table next to us got drinks, the waitress didn't come over at alleven though we were right next to them. Solid 3.5 stars. Nice friendly small town saloon and restaurant. Enough screens to catch a highly rated badgers or packer game.... They have 8 taps but three of them are undrinkable, i.e. Lite beers. Ugh. As the name suggests, priced very reasonable!! Foodselection is good. It is always skillfully prepared. I wish they had more barbecued meats and grilled fish selections, likewalleye. We stopped there quickly for a bite to eat. The cheese curds are phenomenal, highly recommended. I had a burger and fries, which... was cooked perfectly and tasted great. For the size of the place they have plenty of seating along with plenty of TV's. Thereisn't a bad seat in the place where you can't see a TV. Bathrooms were clean and easily wheelchair accessible. There isadditional seating and a bar in a four season patio type area, however, I didn't go back there. Staff was very nice and prompt.We were never stuck there waiting for service. The food prices were great for the area and for establishments likethat. Overall a wonderful place to stop, highly recommended. Read more
Friendly service and food was great. Their Ruben is definitely the best around.
