My husband and my favorite date place once a month. We start at the bar, him with budlight and i have chocolate martinis or rum... punch before our table is ready. The steak is always on point! We absolutely always order spinach and artichoke dip. Buddies isNUMBER ONE for S&A dip. You have to try their seafood potatoes. My family has been many times and I guess the last couple experiences were just downright bad and they'd decided not to go... again. Well when the first two places the birthday girl chose were closed we didn't have much choice. Boy were we glad thosefirst two places were closed that day. Dinner was outstanding! The spinach dip with bootie pasta was delicious, the steaks wereseasoned to perfection and tender as butter and the service was top-notch. Not enough places in Hammond with great service like Buddy's. Our steak was perfect , with onions and mushrooms and garlic! Oh... My! My seafood potato was delicious. But food is not enough to aprase me. Our drinks were also delicious. But the SERVICE! Itwas the service that was the delightful, singular cherry on top of my experience. On point, polite, professional, neverintrusive, always one step ahead of my own requests. And not once forgot to get me anything I asked for. It's nice to get thisservice in Hammond. 10 out of 10. This place was AMAZING. Came for my birthday on a Wednesday. Best steak place around from New Orleans to Baton Rouge. I’ve... been to most of the bigger name steak places around & they don’t compare to this place. Prices are at more reasonable too. Allfood pictured plus crawfish bread and 2 salads cost 130$. I highly recommend the stuffed potato. Will be back soon. Onlycomplaint is that they seemed to be understaffed so service was slow but really not a big deal bc I didn’t have anywhere elseto be.
