This place is a Hamilton Institution...ate here many times and never disappoints! Staff are super friendly and accommodating,... food is always cooked perfectly with good portions and a good selection of cocktails and lots of beer on tap to choose from. Philly cheese steak was said to be enjoyable, I found the flavours of the fish tacos to be confusing (could be that I'm not too... big on mayo/white sauces ????) but also I find there not to be enough fish. Decided to try a new restaurant tonight with my daughter. We were seated promptly when we got there and the restaurant was very... busy. Our server came over to our table and with no introduction he asked if we'd like a drink, we gave our order and he swiftlywent off to retrieve it. He returned after 5 mins to drop the drinks off and without a word swiftly left again. 10 mins laterhe returned to take our order, he was friendly but not personable, his customer service was lacking which put a damper on makingme want to return to this restaurant. It's a pity because the food was actually very good. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes werehot and well seasoned, side veggies were a bit hard. We had the most incredible service, I wish I caught the waiters name because he was absolutely phenomenal. Our server brought... our party a birthday cake without us even telling him it was our birthday as he was so observant. Our fish and chips, ceaserwrap and kids meal was to die for and our beverages as well as food came out in a very timely manner. I will definitely bereturning to this establishment! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a meal, somewhere to celebrate,going for a date or anything else. I cannot stress how great of service we had, this establishment clearly values its qualityemployees! Read more
