The early bird breakfast special from 8am to 10am is excellent for under $10 after tax. Good homefries and eggs cooked... perfectly. Delicious sausage. Great service. Would avoid the burger as it's frozen and has an unpleasant texture; too chewy. Read more
Ordered from here for breakfast. I ordered a couple omlettes a vegetarian, and a ham and bacon one. A side of sausage too which... tasted great. The home fries were good, and the toast was perfectly done! Got a free slice of apple pie also. Everything wasdelicious, and the serving size was big! This was a second choice for us as the Golden Griddle was closed for vacation. We were lucky to be seated right away as the... restaurant was packed and other breakfast seekers were coming in behind us. My breakfast companion ordered a western sandwichwhich came with a vinegary coleslaw? at breakfast? I ordered scrambled eggs, toast and homefries. While the western sandwichlooked pretty standard, and my company said that it was good, I cannot say the same regarding my scrambled eggs. They had agreenish brown tint. My friend thought they looked more grey. I guess it depends on what side of the table you weresitting. They were rubbery and dry. I couldn't eat them. The potatoes, while a little bit greasy, were good. Service was fastand efficient. Regarding the photos, the first is what I'm expecting and the second is what I got. Don't think I will bereturning. We went to Wimpy's on 4/24/2022 and our server (Suzanne I believe), was amazing right from the start. We shared some laughs and... she was patient with us when we hadn't looked at the menu right away. I had eggs, over easy, bacon (asked for crispy), homefriesand toast. The bacon did not come out crispy at all and was chewy but other than that, the food was good breakfast diner food.Our other order was sunny side up eggs with sausages and brown toast. They brought out rye bread which the cook seemed veryannoyed and gave me a death stare because we sent it back. The eggs were way over cooked and the yolks were hard. Coffee is goodand hot. Will be going here again just for the service alone. Both servers that we had communicated with were fantastic andmade the meal enjoyable and made the cooks lack of skills passable. Read more
Omg my mouth just waters for this huge breakfast!!! If you have not eaten yet this is the place to go, it fills you up to... satisfaction!!! And if u can?t finish it you can bring it home every one! Read more
Liking the decor in Wimpy's. The server was quick, prompt and polite. Liked the omelet with spinach (lots of spinach ????) and a... nice large spoonful of feta in the middle. Not keen on the home fries. I much prefer mine to be crispy not boiled potatoes thenquickly seasoned and put on a hot plate. The rye bread was small but over all I will go back to try something else.
