Sadly the food i recieved tonight was basically inedible, The one burger, so grey i dont even want to try it, and the other... burger super thin and cut in half for some reason? Not following instructions, just disappointing all around. A pool of greaseat the bottom of the pickle fries, and they didnt even include my extra sauces. For the crazy price i paid for 2 burgers and 2sides, with the quality i recieved, i cannot recommend this place to anyone. Read more
The food here is absolutely disgusting. I don't know how they can feel good serving this . The one cheese burger came Pre cut... and with items what were not requested. The second burger The "Da Plug" burger has more Grey than an old folks home .. thepickle fries were absolutely drenched in grease and had left a nice grease pool in the bottom of the cup it was served in . Okay so I am a potato fanatic? these are the best fries I have ever had period. Crispy but soft on the inside.. dreamy. I am a... vegetarian so I usually ask for a keep it real but with a beyond meat Patty and it?s hella good?can?t recommend this placeenough. My meat eater friends also love it. Just eat it!! Read more
Called for take out, was fast and delicious. Got "Da Plug", that crispy salami is next level Mmmmmm! The Kalamata aioli was... really good too. Very friendly, great food. Definitely try it. Read more
Decided to try out this place after all the rave reviews and I wasn?t let down! This is a little small shop along King and... there isn?t much parking but you can park on the residential street nearby. Also there isn?t really much space to dine in asthis is more of a takeout place. Now to the good stuff?The burger I ordered was super tasty! If I?m being picky, it could haveused a bit more sauce and lettuce but otherwise good. I would definitely eat it again. The owner was nice as he comped me for mysubstitution in cheese - def get props for that. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars vs 5 is that it is a tad on the priceyside considering you pay $13-$16 for a burger without any side. Read more
Great burger, good poutine, better owner. Got to chat with the owner for a bit while my food was being prepared and he was nice... to talk to. You could tell he really cares about the final product and his staff all put in effort. As for the burger, myfiancé and I each got a juicy Lucy and it was amazing. We also got a poutine to share and we liked the fact that the cheese andgravy was layered and not a on top. Love the name of the spot and want to try the fried chicken next time. A hidden gem delivering unique tastes with a cultural twist on your classic burger joint. Customer service was a strong plus... here as i was indecisive at first. I ended up trying the "Trap burger" which comes with a homemade sauce. Let me say, they didnot hold back on flavour!
