This place NEVER FAILS TO AMAZE US My boyfriend and I went into Express to celebrate a new job I had gotten! (I was the... customer who raved about the coconut vodka pasta dish in the summer ;) for some reason I cannot make another review on the sameaccount so here I am with my alternate account) I noticed on the new “winter” menu they had a rosé bowtie pasta dish thatwas with veggies and spicy! I asked for it without the spice and holy cow! IT WAS AMAZING!!! This is my all time favouriteitalian place in Hamilton and I will never stop coming here, the cesar salad is still my #1 and this place holds a place in myheart for a pasta lover like myself ???? Amazing !! My relatives from Italy deemed The Express to have the most authentic Italian food they had in Canada. I've been back... several times since. Warning : Their food is addictive !!! When it comes to take away I always lower my expectations a fair bit. But in this case I gotta say, the food is barely edible.... The picture tells a thousand words. This is supposed to be a veal Parmesan sandwich. I ordered two gluten free brownies through Uber eats and two cheese pizzas arrived. I contacted Uber eats and was refunded... instantly. I messaged the restaurant directly and they answered straight away. They said it came up as pizza on their end as Isaw from the photo. I took one of my receipt also. The pizza is so delicious I have to admit. It’s a super thin crust like acracker, most likely made with soda water to make the crispness. The restaurant was super friendly and apologetic for the errorand they are sending the two gluten free brownies over to me now. I’ll definitely order from here again and would highlyrecommend this restaurant. Read more
