Best nachos I've ever had! The chips alone are 5 stars-worthy - they were perfect thickness, held the crunch and never got... soggy. The pulled pork was also delicious and flavorful, moist and the amount of other toppings + salsa was soplentiful. Husband had fried chicken and that's where the problem was - it was pure white meat (which is great), but the batterwas to thin, it was barely there on the chicken - one of the pieces looked like just straight up fried chicken breast with nobatter! The batter also had no seasoning to it - not even salt. The staff did remedy the situation by replacing the bare pieceof chicken with another one, but the batter was still super thin and unseasoned. 5 stars for the nachos, 3 stars for thechicken - average of 4. I tried this place on a recommendation and loved it so much I came back twice in the same week. Order anything involved with the... fried chicken or pulled pork - we tried pulled pork nachos and the taste is just to die for. The fried chicken comes with anot-too-hot sauce and buttermilk ranch. If I had the ranch sauce as my last meal I swear I'd die happy. The feel is very downsouth, you can tell they put a lot of care in to the vibe playing country music although the restaurant and patio are modern andnew. They even chose to have down south America beer on tap - Rolling Rock and Michelob which go down nice and easy with thefriend chicken. My one wish might be that there be a local craft beer on option to support local. 10/10 would recommend comingtwice a week. We split Dirty southern love - was our favourite! So good! But was a small fairly thin sandwich for $15, waffles were tiny and... fell apart quick. More cowbell: Patties were thin and brisket was ok. All I could taste was meat, I thought there was supposedto be toppings on it? Was a decent size at least. Mac n cheese: One again kinda a small portion, and it was pretty good butcould have used more flavour. Caesar salad: Toppings were delicious, and I liked the variety of leaf but there was no saladdressing on it at all! Maybe they forgot to put it in the bag. I know it's a busy night, but I ordered in advance, the daybefore. We're still empathetic. Hopefully things are a bit better next time, there is lots of promise here! Read more
My boyfriend and I decided to order in tonight via uber eats, I wasn't feeling up to a bunch of harder food to chew due to... some minor tooth pain so I decided to build my own mac n cheese. This is by far the best combination for flavors I didn't knowI needed. Smoked apple wood Mac n cheese with pulled pork and a bourbon BBQ sauce. Amazing is the only way I can describe. Came here through a friend's recommendation and so happy we did. There were 9 of us and they were able to accommodate us even... with a last minute phone call. Really great Southern comfort food. Staff is very friendly and the service was swift. Everythingwe ordered was delicious and big portions. Would definitely recommend! Read more
Bit chaotic. Visit was mid July so a little late posting. Did not have are reservation and with a pre planned group event that... is an issue. We were lucky to have booked an early lunch and they pulled some tables together for us. Food was good. I had theMac and cheese which was plentiful and delicious.
