Everytime I've visited this restaurant we've had good service and great food. Food is always hot, fresh and delicious!! They... have quite a few choices on the menu, and I thoroughly enjoyed their western and fries, but most recently went for breakfast. The waitress recommended the "Benny Bowl". It was outstanding! That's the photo I've attached to my review. So good I asked ifits served every weekend...yummy!! Read more

Looking for a breakfast spot in the Hammer and we checked out the usual haunts. Using the power of G maps, we found Rankin's... Grill. Living in Hamilton for the last 2 yrs I have never seen this place only finding out its been around since the 50's. Upscale pub feel with lots of seating and a large patio. Friendly and attentive staff. Good sized breakfast menu. Ordered theRankin Bowl (poached eggs, potatoes, bacon, hollandaise, onions etc). Very tasty! The service was excellent and theatomosphere was welcoming. 5 stars Read more

One of my favourite breakfast places (lunch and dinner good too). Two separate areas with the ability to accommodate a large... group. Our Meetup group, Hamilton Foodies eats out weekly at at varying restaurants. Rankin?s is my favourite go to restaurant. I have never had a bad meal nor a cold meal there. Food always fresh tasty and piping hot whether it be breakfast lunch ordinner, small group or large. This is one you just have to try! Read more

Suicide wings were very tomato paste base with their homemade sauce. Good spice level though too thick of a paste rather than a... sauce. Didn't grab a photo as we stopped in quick and I had left my phone. Tried to go back today - Sunday. They closed at 3right as I was pulling in. Quite strange to be closed on a Sunday in the summer! So, journeyed to this establishment to celebrate a birthday. Tried something but was VERY displeased. The "chicken wings " are... laughable at best. Some so deformed and didn't even look like anything. They were basically boned chicken bites and extremelysmall. My entree, mostly uncooked. Then they took it back to do it again.....and they still came out half cooked. The veggies, subpar. Wings & Fingers I wouldn't recommend. The picture was taken by a chef who was with me and noticed thefries. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this establishment OR go back. The fact that an uncooked meal was still charged tome.. gross. It doesn't matter that they redid it because they still weren't cooked properly. I hope this establishment improvestheir quality. Read more

You can't order for takeout or pick up easily because the online menu hasn't been updated for at least two years. I tried to... order a sandwich and was told they hadn't served a clubhouse sandwich for the past 2 years. Why is the menu this outdated?Lol The staff is really friendly though, and the girl on the phone said she could have the sandwich made anyway, but the woman(who owns it?) is actually quite condescending...she said she had to 'retrain her kitchen staff" just to have this sandwichmade. The club had huge slices of slimey breakfast ham on it. Also burnt . Read more
