UPPER JAMES location. The absolute worst subs I have ever had. Ordered 2 torpedoes and an assorted. There was barely any meat... the cheese was disgusting. Barely any lettuce or onion. Bacon bits on the torpedo subs were a joke. Litterally hardly anythingon it. The bread was really stale. These are a hard pass for me. Never again and 3 garbage subs were $30. We threw them outwe couldn't eat them. Do yourself a favour and don't bother going here. You will regret it . What a shame this place used to begood for years. Must be newer owners..???? Read more
Poor quality of food. The meat is sliced so paper thin. Bread was stale and lettuce was old. Food 1/10 - staff was nice and... friendly but quality of food is that bad. I typically visit the Mikes on Fennel and upper Ottawa. Made the wrong choice ofvisiting upper James for ?convenience?. Big mistake! Still ended up going to the Fennel and upper Ottawa location for food. Read more
How is this business even running one half of both of my subs have no meat and the other has 1 small layer of turkey, barely any... lettuce and cheese what am I paying for bread???? Thought I would give this Mikes a try. I ordered a mixed sub that came with barely any meat barely any toppings and the bread... was old. I won?t be back I?ll go to the one on Ottawa st from now on. Read more
Disgusting. Made my whole family sick. Subs looked like something you get at a corner store variety . Clearly they arnt... cleaning something , my whole family is violently sick thanks to this place . ( we all live separately and ordered this quicklyto eat together . If I could give it a 0 star I would. I'm used to going to Mike subs on upper gauge which is absolutely fantastic but I was on... upper James the other day the other day and thought Hey it's Mike subs they must all be the same wrong couldn't see behind thecounter to see how thin They shaved the meat until I got home and realized that the meat on the sub it was so thin you couldalmost see thru it. Know the veggies . The tomatoes again if they were any thinner well let's just say I could go on. I bought 9assorted subs 3@22.00 each. What a waste of money. If i lived closer I would have taken them back. I'm sure I won't get aresponse from the owners on this but if your trying to save money by cheating the public you will definitely go out ofbusiness. Worst sub I've ever had, ordered the HERO SUB, Supposed to be double everything, but it wasn't and the lettuce was so wet it... made it like mush, disgusting and with a chocolate milk it cost me $18. Never go there again what a waste of money. Read more
This place is a total rip off, do not waste your time or money. I went in and got two subs for takeout the way they have the... counter set up you can?t really see them making your sub so I just took for granted that just like any other sub I have evereaten it had the usual amount of toppings, I was wrong it had nothing on it the meat I could see through it was so thin all thetoppings were so thin you couldn?t taste them, the sub just tasted like a old stale bun.
