Probably one of the easiest 5 stars I could give! Came here late one night for dinner and we were blown away. High quality... breads in the appetizers and the perfect pairing of sauces, highly recommend the goat cheese! Please order the bread plate as anappetizer, you won’t regret it! Umami burger was delicious, crunchy parm and mushrooms in sauce really made the meal. Risottowas creamy and topped with an amazing pesto sauce, couldn’t have asked for a better blend of veggies in it. Impressiveportions to go along with it! My family and I really enjoyed the food here last night. Everything was very fresh and flavourful as it comes from either their... local farm or other local farms around Hamilton. Our waitress said everything is organic, including the meat even though it'snot stated on the menu. The staff were very friendly and helpful including providing a soup sample for my wife to try beforecommitting to ordering a side soup with her burger. The eggplant parmesan was honestly my favourite, very fresh and flavourful,wonderful textures with a thin, light, crispy coating of breadcrumbs and perfectly cooked eggplant that wasn't mushy or watery.My Mac and Cheese with side Artichoke soup was really good. I never order Mac and Cheese at restaurants but I thought I'd trytheirs and it was great; toasted breadcrumb top with an onion, bacon mac and cheese below. The soup was very tasty and wellbalanced, there wasn't anything that was too overpowering. I had a pint of their Fairweather High Grade IPA, it's a nice juicy,tropical IPA with a pineapple, mango, nectarine and peach notes at 6.2%. My wife had the cheeseburger with side Artichoke soupas well. The burger was tasty, not greasy and well portioned. My sister-in-law had the Arugula and Fennel salad without thebuttermilk dressing as she is vegetarian and it was no problem, they brought her a vinaigrette dressing which she asked forinstead. My brother had the Millenial Falcon pizza 11" which he enjoyed but did notice was a little runny and became soggy fromsitting in a small pool of liquid. My mom had the Bee Sting pizza 11" which was tasty with the fresh basil leaves on top givingit particularly nice flavour as you bite through them. The pistachio aioli she asked for as a dipping sauce was quite nice aswell, not very punchy with flavour but good. This place is okay but the food was not good. Michele came over and took our order, she was polite, friendly and out going.... When the food came though it was unbelievable horrible. When then took the lid off the clams, he smelt like a barn. Then I go tohave my burger, the bun was soggy like it was dip in water, with an over cooked burger that was to have cheese and the cheeselook liked the grab some cheese wiz and threw it on there. Delicious pizza with some of the best crust I've had. Airy and crispy with a good amount of chew. Quality ingredients, friendly... service, and nice atmosphere. The plating of the food is gorgeous and the ambiance in the restaurant is very cozy! Can’t go wrong with the bread plate: the... roasted carrot sauce, celeriac slaw, hummus, and baba ganoush were delicious and paired well with the crusty and fresh bread.The calamari with the chimichurri sauce and sauce was a guilty pleasure (a bit oily and pricey but worth it if you’re a fan ofcalamari!) However, I was disappointed with the pizza. The bottom crust layer was drenched in olive oil and extremely soggy—Ihad to eat it with a knife and fork. For the bee sting, it was way too salty and I couldn’t taste the honey or chili oil (notspicy at all). The lemon ricotta definitely saved it because it was heavenly! Jerk chicken was decent, peppers had a kick tothem. On a more positive note, they are generous with the cheese and the outer crust was amazing. Got to dip it in some of thespreads in the bread plate! Such a great restaurant with super friendly service! We ordered the calamari which was great, the breading was on the crunchy... side and the dip was a perfect match. We ordered the large pizza and did two different toppings, it was huge and much biggerthan we expected. It was very cheesy (finally a nice restaurant that’s not stingy with the cheese). We did order the blueberrycornbread dessert which we didn’t like but they were kind enough to take it back and not charge us. I think next time I’dtry their brownie dessert but we decided to not replace the dessert. Regardless it was a fantastic experience and would highlyrecommend to others! Read more
