Caribbean Flavah was a delightful experience for both me and my girlfriend. We got a recommendation from someone we knew saying... that it was the only Caribbean food near the university, so we had to try it out. I got the jerk chicken roti, which wasabsolutely packed with chickpeas, potatoes, and of course, jerk chicken. The portion size was more than generous at 11 dollars, and it tasted great as well. The owner made good conversation with us before and after we ate; and made a great experienceoverall. She even gave us a sample of oxtail meat, of which she said was her favorite meat served there. Overall, I am excitedto go back and will definitely recommend anyone with interest in Caribbean food to try! Read more

Ate here from their food vendor in London at a festival and it was delicious! Best jerk chicken and rice I've ever had - so... flavourful! Very friendly service too. I wish I lived closer, but definitely will be stopping by whenever I'm in Hamilton next!:) Read more

Just finished my chicken roti and it was delicious. Staff is friendly. With a little prodding I ordered the large oxtail for my... mother. It's a little pricy but, with the rise in foods the prices are reasonable. Would I recommend it to those who ask, yes Iwould. There are a lot of people to go around for both shops. Go and enjoy a meal or curry roti. I ordered the Jerk Pork andJerk Chicken lunch special and while the chicken tasted great, the pork came out on top. The spiciness and flavor of the pork isa 10 / 10. Read more

We got sick, seems the food went bad and they still served it. Overall horrible experience with the food this time. Paid over... $80 for lack of flavour, off coleslaw, stale dry stone rice and peas, burnt dry fry, potato curry roti rather than the orderedcurry chicken roti, and burnt dry curry fry chicken (was supposed to be curry chicken). Ate here before and it was good. Thereseems to be some lack of understanding of what the food is, should look like, taste like, and be cooked. You can't put the wholerock potato uncooked pieces in the curry with the chicken and call it curry chicken. You can't give people hard black chickenthat looks and tastes like it was made in old oil. We won't be back but I do hope the food will improve. Read more

Working in the area I have stopped by quite a few times. Caribbean Flavah always has really tasty food with great portions and... friendly staff. The goat curry is my favourite but their jerk chicken is also a classic. Excellent takeout joint, worth tryingthe whole menu! Read more

review date: november 9, 2021, february 10, 2022. customer service date: november 9, 2021, feb 10/22. i discovered caribbean... flavah (CF) by chance as i was driving thru the area. i checked out their website and reviews and decided to make a move ontheir menu. CF has been in business now for 6 years, and they are located on main st west near the corner of dalewood ave. thereis plenty of free parking beside the store in a parking lot. i phoned-in and at first, was put off that the store doesn'taccept phone-in orders, but convinced the store person that i wasn't going to flake. the reason i phone in especially withcaribbean places is to ensure desired times are available, the store is actually open, and for me to save time with driving 15min's away, and waiting in-store for food prep, given this is not fast food. once i arrived at the store, george explained whythey avoid phone-in's because they have had people in the past not come in to pay after phoning in an order. while this is the1st place that i've dealt with such procedure, i understand and respect their viewpoint. george recommends for phone-in's touse their online ordering menu instead. CF takes cash or debit for payments. also, to CF's credit, there is little wait time forwalk-in's...food is ready to be put together/collected as ordered and you can be out the door in 5 minutes or less. itemsordered: 2 beef patties, 1 jerk chicken roti and 1 large jerk pork with rice and beans/coleslaw. jerk chicken roti: decent sizeand weight relative to price ($10 plus tax). comes with potatoes, a curry sauce and chickpeas within the roti. roti overall wasdelicious, would order such again. 2 beef patties: a bit higher in price ($2.99 each + tax) compared to other places ifrequent. quality was ok. not bad, but not great. patties were listed on the in-store and flyer menu, but not online. 1 largejerk pork with rice, peas/coleslaw: ($12.95) quality of contents were good. however the large size would be a r Read more

Went in search of the closest thing to Dominican cuisine for my husband and found this lovely Jamaican place close to Mac. We... got the jerk chicken (spicy) and stew chicken (not spicy), a side of plantain & 2 patties? both mains were delicious and veryfilling. Patties satisfy the craving but nothing to write home about. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. Overall wouldorder here again- the place was clean, and the service and food were great! Read more
