Terrible customer service, steep prices. They also insist on cash payments, giving attitude if you pay by card (they only take... debit). For the price, very little food. Just left and got Red rice, Noodles and the most important part BOURBON CHICKEN. the rice looked like it was sitting there all... day, the noodles I had to ask for more due to the small amount that was given to me with hassle and the ladies speakingdifferent language because the portion was so small for 13$. Got home and the chicken was hard (old), dry and taste like it wasalso sitting there all day. The rice was dry and hard also. Not only did they give me issues because I asked them to give memore because the portions were RIDICULOUS I?m totally disappointed. It?s not the same as it was before, price is higher and theportions are so small for what you pay for. It was the one thing I chose to eat for my birthday (todays my birthday) and Irefuse to eat this now at home. Do not waste your money for food that has been sitting out all day. Well, I?ll start off my saying all you Karen?s need to relax with the complaints about the ladies that work upfront. Your not in... a restaurant where they should cater to you etc. It?s basically a fast food place but in a mall. The older ladies there clearlydon?t speak great English and it?s hard for them to communicate. What they are good at is taking your order and moving you downthe line. That?s what you want and should expect at a place like this. If you are clear about what you are ordering and followthe process it?s pretty easy. It?s also refreshing to see a no bs process where you can order and have your food in 2 minsunlike every other ?fast food? place out there. Try going to Tim Hortons and asking for a double double. It will take 5 times aslong! The food, the bourbon chicken is fantastic! Quick tip, ask them to scoop some extra sauce from the tray in your rice foryou. Delicious! They do give you a really good portion but for a 2 combo meal with a drink for $16 is pretty heavy. This is thereason for the 3 stars. Rice and chicken should not cost that much, especially in a mall. In regards to the bad reviews sayingthey saw employees doing things that happens everywhere! I?d bet if you were a fly on a wall in any restaurant kitchen you wouldbe even more turned off. I know I?ve worked at many popular establishments. This comes down to the actual employee and if youreally want to knit pick then I would never eat out at all! Sh@t happens and you can?t live in a bubble. I have been going to this location for years and will no longer be returning as I found a cockroach in my meal. I purchased 3... meals for my family and I, all of these could have been contaminated. This is disgusting and unacceptable. After looking atpublic health records, I saw that this location has a history of infractions including poor pest control. The bourbon chicken is pretty good. But the lady who has worked the front cash for years is stingy on everything. The look of... disgust I was thrown today when I asked for some soy sauce was the final straw. Even down to asking for more than the onenapkin she gives out, she acts like I asked for her first born child. When she's off and the gentleman who usually works thekitchen is up front. He's always happy to give you what you need to enjoy your meal but it's rare I see him out of the kitchen.At $16 for noodles, some bourbon chicken on top and a drink, I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for more napkins or somesoy sauce packets. Complete waste of money. The blackened chicken is so bland. The noodles are okay but $13 for a bowl of noodles and gross chicken... is terrible. The lady working at the counter was so rude, I did not know they don?t accept visa so I tried to use it and sheyelled at me. Even when building my order she yelled at me to hurry up when trying to figure out which chicken I wanted, I wasthe only customer there, it was not busy and I had only looked at the options for about 3-5 seconds before being told to hurryup. Is this new management? I get the same thing for years but this rice is not my normal bourbon rice. It?s acceptable but not... the delicious feast I?m used too. But the man behind the counter was fantastic, very personable and made me glad I picked thatplace for dinner. Read more
