Went to this A&W location because my husband and I had coupons. Ordered two meals and the coupons were scanned. We left and... checked the receipt which showed no application of the coupons. Had to go back in and they printed a new receipt that showed onecoupon was applied but not the other, so I asked for the other one to be ?applied? and get a refund for the amount that wassupposed to be applied. The supervisor said they can?t do that and there?s ?nothing they can do? other than refund the entireorder, but I have to give the food back and it will go to their waste count. How is that helpful?! But it was cold by thenanyways and they couldn?t just refund me the coupon amount that was supposed to be used, so sure! Overall it was a waste of timeand effort - a company should NEVER let paying customers drive away thinking discounts were applied when they weren?t! IMOthat?s awful customer service, then not being willing to rectify the situation with customer satisfaction in mind made it worse.Maybe this location should have stronger training in the system, the digital coupons, and hospitality. I?ll try calling thestore then will update my post if needed. But until then, we won?t be back. In fact, we left unhappy and spent our money atHarvey?s instead. We had no problems there. Read more
