A little dark when I first came in but my eyes adjusted very quickly beautiful wood tables set about with as few as four chairs... and as many as eight around spaciously placed around. Great salad bar with lots of options. I had the crab cake bites which werenice and crispy on the outside and tender succulent and tasty on the inside. For the main course I had the 10 ounce Ribeye (cooked medium rare ) with sweat potato and rice for the sides. Steak was seared to perfection over the real charcoal fire, ithad the right amount of marbling which added to the tenderness. Foodgasm from the first bite to the last flavourful morsel.Definitely recommend as a small get away from the grind of the interstate or to get away from the kids for a bit. Most enjoyableexperience. Another amazing experience! Don't understand the negative reviews? Been here at least a dozen times, and tonight 10/08/22 was no... different. Sever Julie was completely on point! I never felt so discriminated in any place how I felt at the restaurant. My cousin and I were driving from Florida and stopped... to eat at the Peddler Steal House. We asked for a short rib and not even two seconds later, the waitress came and told us thathe ribs were finished, I asked for a ribeye steak and she also said it was finished. Then, she pointed at another steak andmentioned that was available and cheaper than the other two. At that point I made it clear that the price was not an issue. Wearrived at the restaurant at 7:00 pm and restaurant opens at 5:00. I know the restaurant is very famous for ribs, however in twohours everything was gone? So are you telling me that in less than two hours you run out of supplies? I understand maybe wedidn?t have the best impression but people shouldn?t be judged by the way they look. We drove for more than 10 hours and werelooking for a place to eat and rest to continue our journey the me the day. I was very hurt to see that still in 2022 we aresuffering for segregation and discrimination. That was not nice at all. So if you are Latino please know we are not welcomethere. Read more

Excellent! The ribeye was perfectly done medium rare. They use coal. Potatoes like mom and the button mushrooms were... wonderfully marinated. I did not care for the onions (too salty). Very good traditional salad bar. I had to go to avoid therains so no dessert. Mary was a wonderful server and Julie gave great local directions. I will come back. Read more

First time here and it was delicious. Hubby ordered the prime rib. I ordered the ribeye and shrimp. I asked for a1 with my steak... and didn't even use it. Flavor was on point. Asparagus was grilled and seasoned well. The salad bar was fresh and had a greatvariety. Waitress Makayla was perfect. I would definitely eat here again. Read more
