Awesome dinner and Tyrone is Fantastic!!! This was our second visit. Last Friday my cousin suggested and we had such great food... and service we actually told our waiter Tyrone we were coming back this week. I had the BLT Chicken (I ordered both times),fried mozzarella, crispy brussel sprouts for apps, my hubby had the Lynns Chicken also both times, absolutely delicious!! We had two pasta dishes, carbonara and a pepper sausage red sauce. The carbonara did not resemble any carbonara I've had...not... creamy just oily and tasteless. Red sauce was better, but under flavored. Probably would sent back carbonara except a friendtook us to his "favorite" restaurant. Read more
Cafe Amici is everything I expect from an Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and professional. Inside and outside... are kept clean. Atmosphere is very family friendly. To put a cherry in top, the food is phenomenal. I will definitely bereturning for another meal sometime in the future. Located on Whitney Ave across the street from Wells Fargo or Walgreens. Thereis no direct highway to get there. If you're on Rt15 take exit 61. If you're on I91 take exit 5, or exit 10>40 connector>exit1. Do yourself a favor and make the drive. It's well worth it. I'll preface this by saying I've been many times and enjoyed it. I called in a small take-out order (1 appetizer, 1 salad), ... they said 25 min. 45 min later, I wondered if they'd forgotten about me - there wasn't a good place to wait and no one saidanything to me - so I flagged someone down to ask about my order, at which point the bag was produced (making me wonder if it'djust been sitting on a shelf somewhere). Although it took 55 min rather than 25, I figure hey, it's Friday night, they'rebusy...whatever. However, my $15 appetizer consisted of four cold, soggy shrimp on 2 extremely soggy, extremely salty pieces oftoast. $32 and nearly an hour yielded a tiny, nearly inedible appetizer and a beet salad...needless to say, I'm kind ofdisappointed :/ Read more

Great family style Italian restaurant. Ordered the specialty chicken risotto & the veil saltimbocca. Both delicious. The attire... was relaxed and the place was busy on a Sunday night. Service was friendly. Food was delicious. Value was fair. I felt like 4 stars feels right, as it's not a destination restaurant. But it is a fantastic local Cafe. Read more
Our party of ten enjoyed every dish served by the amiable staff. It is our family's favorite Italian restaurant in the area.
