Staff was BEYOND kind and accommodating, but the skinny older manager ruined our experience. I worked in food service, so I... understand the stress behind a job like hers, but the way she acted at some points was unprofessional and rude. Manager wasnasty- glared at us throughout the night, ordered the staff around like a drill sergeant, and spoke negatively of us in ear shotmultiple times. The way she condescendingly spoke to her employees and ordered them around truly pushed me over the edge.Hopefully, it was just a bad night for her and this doesn?t reflect how she really treats her staff and paying customers. We went during rush on Sunday and we were a party of 11. The staff was great. Very accommodating and made room for us within 20... minutes without any attitude. Our orders were placed altogether and came out all together. Only a couple tiny mistakes I won'teven mention what they were. The food was great. We had a nice time. I dont even know were to start with this review. 1st off the pancake puppies we were served were overcooked and the oil needs... changed. 2ndly the wait staff were loudly arguing with the cook staff. I personally watched a cook take food off a plate in theserving window with his bare hands. Upon entering the restaurant I was verbally attacked by the manager after I read a sign at the host desk saying there was a... minimum 30 min wait once you were seated. She continued to rudely talk about me. Luckily the waitress Jordan was a pleasure andwas not allowing her manager's attitude to affect her doing her job properly. Read more
French toast ice cold. When asking them to warm it up both of us noticed a hair in it. They warmed it up pulled hair out and... brought it back to me. I should not have had to ask for new food. Had a deal with T-Mobile for a free Slam meal for two, plus we ordered some extra things as we were just passing through.... Decided to do an order for pick up instead of dining in. Called the number for the restaurant to place the order and it wasrouted to the corporate number, which was strange. My review would be 1 star for corporate alone, but this is about thisspecific location, so I'm only going to review the location and not corporate. This location does not personally answer phones,it is only managed by corporate. So, I told them we had two of the T-Mobile deals, and they advised they could be on the sameorder. When we picked up the order, however, the computer system would only accept one per receipt. A big thank you and shoutout to the manager for being on top of things and helping to sort out the situation. She was incredible and we are very gratefulto her swift actions and quick thinking!
