It was nice to eat something different for a change. We never had Venezuelan food before so the big appetizer was perfect.... Everyone enjoyed the arapes the best. The pork and beef meats are slow cooked and had great flavor. However the meat is on thesalty side so be aware if you are sensitive to salt. A few things that could be improved? The drinks were served in very smallcups for the price and were to concentrated. We brought them home to water down and enjoyed them after. The tostones needed saltor something. Also, they could have a better description and pictures for their food so you know what you are ordering.Otherwise the place had a nice vibe and the staff was friendly and patient as we decided on what to order. I had two Al Pastor, one Lengua, and one Barbacoa taco with onions & cilantro of course. I also added a cup of Elotes on the... side and a Pacifico beer. They have three types of salsa red, green, and habanero. I tried the green and the habanero and let metell you the habanero is for real! It was spicy hot and so delicious! Very good food, the big appetizer plater with pastelitos, tequeños, arepitas de carne mechada, was excellent the patacón with... pernil was very good, the arepa volcano was different but good, all of it was tasty, and you can find stuff to drink likefrescolita and malta polar, also cocosette, toronto and suzy. Refrigerated and to go they have queso de mano and two other kindsof cheese. I love this restaurant. I love the food flavors; they really bring Venezuela to Fort Worth. My only complaint is that they need... to work on the food and side portions. Especially for the to-go orders. I recently placed a. $130 order to go, which includedempanadas, patacón, pepitos, sopas de res, and they only sent me one side of garlic sauce, and one side cilantro sauce, and thelittle container was not even half full. It would help if you worked on this because when I go to the restaurant, you give methe sauce to eat as much as I want. I even tried calling to go over my order to ensure they put everything I needed, but therewas no answer. (I believe from what I saw before while eating at the restaurant when there is about an hour to close, they avoidanswering the phone). Prices are already super high to not receive what we expected to receive. If you are planning to go tothe restaurant and eat there, I recommend you go 100%. The food is delicious. I finally ordered food to be delivered the other night. We had the Venezuelan Tour platter & liked it so much that another... family member also ordered it to be delivered within a few minutes of trying it. Definitely will order again.
