Tasty sandwiches but very overpriced. I got a medium sandwich with chips and a drink. $17 after tax and a 10% tip. There wasn?t... much in the sandwich, and I?m still hungry. A large would have been a few dollars more. I could get a very nice lunch somewhereelse for $20+ instead of a thin sandwich and a bag of chips from a fast food place. Read more

I gave this place a few chances and I think I'm done now...I got a few raw tomatoes and a little shredded lettuce on The Italian... sandwich.. I specifically asked once again for pickles and got none for the 3rd time. Two young gals working. Super busy during lunch hours. They did a great job getting the sandwiches made and responding to... complaints from customers due to what may be a longer-than-usual wait time. Located along Hallandale Beach Blvd., this Firehouse Subs is spacious and has adequate table seating for customers who want to... dine in. You can also place an order to go or pickup an online order. There is a variety of hot & cold subs, salads, sides,desserts, and cold beverages. The staff is friendly and the subs are prepared fresh and in a timely manner. My usual sub is theHook & Ladder, but this time I wanted to try something different...I went with a medium Italian sub which consist of slicedGenoa salami, pepperoni, Virginia honey ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard, Italian dressing and seasoning. Iomitted the onions and made it a combo by adding chips and a drink. There was only a few people dining inside so I feltcomfortable chilling at the restaurant for a while. About 5 minutes, a female employee brought my sub to me and I couldn't waitto sink my teeth into it. It was really, really good. The meats, cheese, and toppings tasted very well together. First time visiting this firehouse, very good impression with my overall experience. The restaurant is very clean and the staff... is very respectful and friendly. The menu is very easy to understand and there are many choices. I ordered the medium Italiansub to go and I was pleasantly surprised with my order.
