I must say, this establiahment is fine dinning at its best. We have learned that this estanlishment was on countless "top 10... best" lists before we ever set foot in Halifax, and all those lists were true. We were greeted by friendly staff and wereseated right away as well. We chose both tenderloin and sirloin steaks and they were cooked to our liking 100%. Fresh, deliciousraw oyster were welcome addition as well. All in all, we will undoubtly return to this establishment if we return to Halifax. Read more

Excellent service and good food. Tge quality of food was awesome. I ordered the cigar tenderloin, medium rare and it was... awesome. One of the best steak i had ever eaten. The oysters either raw or bake were also good. I liked the raw better. Thedesert, raspberry cheesecake was also delicious. Really recommend have dinner here. Read more

Barrington is a exceptional establishment, you get exactly what you pay for. We were a party of 8 and the staff was great with... our guests. The wait between each course was a bit long but definitely worth the wait. We would definitely come back from somemore surf and turf. Read more

It's a very comfortable place a bit more on the fancy side. Our server was very nice and the food was amazing but it was a bit... more on the expensive side of things. It was worth it at the end but I wouldn't go their regularly because of the prices. I'drecommend the seafood platter to share and then one of their specialty steaks. Read more

We went during 4th wave restrictions on a Tuesday. The waitress was good, maybe a little distant, but very kind and friendly. ... The atmosphere is excellent. The reasons for two stars: I found the food quality itself so-so. The size for price was fine, butwe weren't too impressed with the cooking of the steaks. I felt the seasoning of steaks to be just ok. Actually a bit overcooked on one order and under cooked on the other. Fries were a bit soggy. We did do the full dessert menu and that wasdelicious. I've honestly been to Cut and Chop in Halifax, and felt both of those to be a bit better in quality. I can't givethis place more than 3 stars. Read more

This was my first time at the Barrington Steakhouse, I felt overall the meal was great. I found the prime rib was way too fatty... for my liking and didn't enjoy that portion of my meal. The appetizers were delicious as well as the bag of donuts for dessert. Read more
