Beans are not specialty as window says. But special enough to be part of the best late I tried in Halifax so far. Finally found... a place that knows what they do with coffee here. Great experience. Cute hole in the wall kind of cafe. Staff was friendly, menu is vert straight forward. I ordered the salmon... lox on an all dressed bagel. It was delicious, on top of that I got an oat chocolate chip cookie. Sat outside and enjoyed thesun! I got take out thinking I wouldn?t finish, but I should?ve dined in so I wouldn?t waste the take out box. Read more

Do not come here for food. This place has nice atmosphere but don?t be fooled, food portions are really small for the price. And... I mean, *really* small, like the Egg Reno (which is really just a small breakfast sandwich despite a misleading descriptionmaking it sound like breakfast dish) and the bagels too. After my friend ate the Egg Reno, we had to go somewhere else since itwasn?t filling at all. There was no liquid syrup for my iced coffee either. Read more
really friendly staff, cutest environment ever, great location, and i LOVE the pastries here! spelt blueberry muffin you have my... heart. also one of the few places in town that knows how to do espresso drinks well. pricey but you pay for what you get ??great place to study or meet with a friend. and the breakfast/lunch menu is superb! i just wish they were open past 2. also ilove the wallpaper in here. Really enjoyed the setting and environment here! The staff are all very sweet and polite. The coffee and bagels are delicious!... Very nice cafe and would definitely return! If you're concerned for COVID, their preventative measures are much better thanOntario restaurants with use of plexiglass dividers. Read more

I love to stop by here on my way to work and get a coffee and a muffin (the blueberry is A+). My coffee is usually good, but it... depends on who?s working. I also ordered avocado toast one day when I was in a rush on a lunch break and it was ridiculouslypricy for one piece. It?s a hit or miss place, but I definitely will keep going. Read more
