Came here from Toronto and was looking for an Indian vegetarian meal on Maps when I found this place. Ordered online and the... process for pickup was smooth, however, the pickup times online may not be accurate so do call ahead if they're too long. Butter chicken is so good, and the Naan bread is OMG, I could eat just the bread alone. The bread is not too oily, not too dry,... not too soggy, not too crunchy, its just perfect. The butter chicken sauce is mildly spicy, at least for me, could be spicy forothers, slightly tangy, but creamy, the flavor is very balance. Chicken is also tender. The tumeric rice is fragrant, fluffy andnot too dry. I love everything about the dish, everything is on point. This place does deserve a consistent 5 stars, and it'snot a hype. Very affordable too. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I have ordered from Spice Box. They prepare the food quickly and have incredibly kind and... courteous customer service. I have tried butter chicken poutine, chicken tikka poutine, chicken tikka wrap, chicken tikka,chicken and beef kebab, and fried chicken. I loved the chicken tikka wrap due to its smoky flavour. The poutines and kebabs werealso delicious. I did not enjoy the fried chicken as I found it to be on the dry side, but that could be a traditionalpreparation method. I also tried ras malai, but it tasted very close to frozen Kesar ras malai that we always eat, so I was nottoo fond of it. Read more

Pakistani food with a twist. We went there while visiting from Mississauga where good Pakistani food is abundant. We ordered... Chicken tikka naan pizza and butter chicken poutine and both were good (fries could have been crispier though). I'm generallynot a fan of butter chicken as it's not a true Pakistani dish, however, their butter chicken was different than the commonlysold chicken cubes in a sweet creamy tomato sauce. Their butter chicken was a great blend of spices and it tasted great.Reasonable prices and good portion size. Spice level was spot on. Good customer service rounds this one off to 5 stars.Recommended when in Halifax. Read more
