Disappointing Haddock burgers. I asked the server a lot of questions before ordering about the burgers gluten content. He said... it has a little gluten it?s breaded. Turned out to be a fully battered filet of haddock very greasy and dried fish inside, asmall portion. The fish came in a sandwich bread like a sandwich not a burger. The bread was gluten free. The fries were burnt,fish chewy overcooked. Would not return. Their chowder is delicious though, wil give em that. Read more

Poor value for the money. I had fish and chips in the summer of 2018 and thought the portion small for $11 +, but the fries were... well cooked. I went again today at lunchtime for fish and chips (April the following year). The single fish portion ($11 +) waseven smaller -- the smallest I've ever been served (about 3" by 2") in a restaurant -- and was about half batter. Also, thefries were soggy with grease. Very good food (I got the German breakfast), fantastic coffee and the service was friendly. The prices however are on the... steeper side but since everything is supposed to be fresh and it?s on the waterfront I guess that it was is expected, but for methat is enough to not visit again. If someone else was paying however, I would certainly return. Read more
