One of very few places in Halifax that serve chicken with bone. Love their naan, soft and buttery, very close to what you find... in India. The chicken gravy was very yummy, though I found the chicken a bit hard. Probably they roast it in advance and thenjust put it in gravy. The paneer tikka masala was average. The staff was very friendly. Overall it’s a decent place to haveIndian food. Read more

Were looking for nice hot curry and rice and decided to try them. Ordered just that with some kebabs and it was good. Service... was good and prompt and the girl was friendly. Thought the prices were a bit on the higher side though. Parking is availablejust outside and they are really close to the waterfront. If you are looking for a fancy place this is not the one. However thefood is typically Indian which we wanted. Read more

Food: My husband and I had paneer butter masala, garlic naan and boneless lamb biryani. Everything tasted delicious, specially... the paneer. We also had a masala chai and a mango lassi. They both tasted good too. Staff: The staff is friendly and attentive. But they may take a little time to serve given how busy they are all throughout. The restaurant: The restaurant is small buthas seating capacity for about 40-45 people. The ambiance is alright. It’s a little hot inside. Overall, good Indianrestaurant with good food for reasonable prices. Read more

Decent food for good prices. The service and ambience is adequate. We went in when it was packed but we were able to find a... seat. They had decided to open their windows as it was getting bit warm. The order took some time but overall it was not aconcern. We tried their Murg Lawabdar which was good if you don’t mind getting your hands messy. The dal makhni stole theshow. The paneer butter masala was okay. Wish the naan was a bit better and the portion sizes of dal was bigger. Otherwise nomajor issues. Will most probably visit again soon. Read more

I went to Mirchi Tandoor first time with my friends and we were craving for some Chinese food. We ordered Manchurian, Hakaa... noodle’s and Mango lassi and the Chinese food was delicious. Being Indian we liked the more spicy food but they were littlebit more spicy than our expectations so I recommend you can go for medium spices. The quantity of noodles was good enough for 2people can easily share in one plate. In addition, Mango lassi was less sugary, I prefer more sweet. The owners were polite andfriendly. They have option of take out, delivery and dine in. The ambience was nice and they also have the facility ofwashroom.I would recommend everyone to check out the restaurant at-least once as the prices were also reasonable. Read more

Really amazing & delicious food. Highly recommend. My friends, family & I were visiting from another province and we forgot to... check on dinner plans for the day so we decided to get pizza as we respect the timings of the restaurants. We happen to see thisrestaurant open and said let’s take a chance to see if they were still open and taking last minute order. If not it was no bigdeal and okay as my husband is a Chef and we are from the hospitality industry and we completely understand. To our surprise theowner was so kind enough and allowed us to place our order. When ever you’ll are craving Indian food either locally orvisiting do give them a try and you will not be disappointed on good Indian food. A big Thank you to the family who runs thisplace. ??
