Great small place for a local vibe. Too bad couldn?t have bagel due to holiday hours. Great service!

The coffee was excellent. Prices are good too. They have a small area to sit inside and a few chairs outside. The only thing... that is preventing a higher rating would be the limited pastry options, as I usually like to have something sweet (like a cookieor croissant) with my coffee. Pastries could be displayed nicer too instead of all smudged in 1 small display. Read more

I went there as I was in the area and got pumpkin spice latte. It was good, but way over priced!! Also, the staff seemed like... nice ladies but were so dry and not as friendly as I?d hope. Nice and cute spot for a quick coffee fix. Read more

I have never given a one star review before, but I was sorrily disappointed by the food at The Ville Caffeine Bar. I was... looking forward to trying one of the croissant sandwiches or a smoothie bowl, but they do not seem to serve either anymore. Theyhave started a new « bagel bar » concept, and while it may be a good idea it is currently not being executed well. There arevery few legitimate toppings (mostly spreads) and the pricing is not transparent. When I asked about the prices, the employeesaid « good point, maybe we should post that ». I ended up ordering a sesame bagel with tomato, lettuce, and hummus and itwas fine. That said, I could have made a much better one at home for cheaper. It also took close to 10 minutes to make it eventhough there were two staff working and I was the only customer. Additionally, the bagel was served in a very small bag and thenapkin was inside of it. This resulted in hummus getting everywhere and the napkin being entirely useless. Although it wasstiflingly hot, at least the atmosphere was nice. Overall, I can?t speak to the drinks but the bagel bar concept needs somerefining. In the meantime, there are many other cafes in the area with much better lunch options. Read more

Great place to grab a drink on the way to the pier. I find that it?s a little hidden as I did not notice it until I saw a cute... little sign with their featured drinks. It?s located under a building, at the bottom of a steep hill! Definitely recommend ifyou can find it ;) Read more

Food and coffee was decent but overpriced. As a solo-traveller, Barista was very cold and unfriendly. As someone trying to... support small business, I was disappointed by the lack of empathy and humanity. Closed one hour earlier than the officialscheduled time of 2pm for no apparent reason. *I can understand the short staffed situation. However, cafe was not busy at all.Was very friendly with another Barista who came in to help. She did not have to be rude. Read more

My favourite coffee place downtown. I always get the shock coffee for the boost, but I have had the normal dark roast as well as... a latte or two. Have enjoyed everything I have gotten there. Great service, and great location. Read more
