Cactus Silvestre is a wonderful restaurant and has great food. Their menu is muy rico! Full of wonderful dishes to chose... from. The tex mex subs, chimichangas, taco salads, burritos, and tacos are a wonderful delight. If you are in the area andlooking for great latin food definitely stop by this restaurant. First time trying this place since they've moved across the street. Service was great, the girl was really nice. Building was... clean. Their food used to be outstanding. Now its mediocre at best. They changed their quesadilla cheese from the creamy whitecheese they used to use, to a generic "mexican blend" style cheese, leaving a greasy and flavorless quesadilla. Their "queso" isnacho cheese. Their guacamole is more of an avocado paste with a texture similar to runny pudding. They've definitely had a foodquality decline over the years. Which is sad, because the place is really cute and they definitely pass the vibe check. Idk ifits the pandemic prices or what, but after being served nacho cheese in place of queso at a "mexican restaurant", I will not bebrave enough to return for a while. Read more
I got their party nachos for $17 (+ $2.50 for tax and convenience fee) and I'd say it is worth the money! Everything looked... fresh, tasted great, and it was a lot. It would've been even better if they added jalapenos, but overall, great nachos, and Iwill come back for more nachos and other food! Read more
I went to your location today and asked for lime with my tacos; nothing extravagant just some lime to squeeze some juice on my... tacos. The lady in the kitchen tells me they do not have lime because it cost to much money and they always go bad . So I go tosave a lot up the street to buy a lime for my food when I get there she tells me there is lime in my box with my food . So whywould you tell me it?s not available I spend my time going to the market spending even more money for it to be provided to me Read more
Nice mexican food. Good for quick grab. Taco doesn't come with rice as shown in their menu card
Ordered at the front window and sat down in one of their booths. The sign outside said "fresh" but when the food came it was... anything but. I ordered steak nachos and the guacamole was a puree, the cheese came from a tub and the steak was unseasoned andcold. My biggest disappointment was trying my friends beans. It tasted like they opened a can and poured it in a cup. Theportion size is good but the overall flavor reminded me of cafeteria food I had in elementary school. Read more
The chimichangas size was no joke. The guacamole was good too and the chips were sturdy and crunchy. The chimichangas did have... carrot in them that put me off a little but over all some real good grub. ???? Read more
