We ate here our first night in Hailey and will definitely return. The service was fantastic. We chose to split a salad and... ordered 2 entrees - each tasted as beautifully as they were presented on the plates. My husband had the trout which was on themenu and I ordered the Wagu beef which was a special that evening. We split the carrot cake for dessert. Every bite of everycourse was phenomenal! Read more

Went to TUNDRA for a nice birthday day dinner for my mom. Definitely need a reservation it is a small intimate restaurant. There... is outdoor dining which we weren't offered when we called in our reservation. It is a wine restaurant so beware if you aren'tinto that. The food was great. Wine was delicious and the staff is knowledgeable about the wines and special beers they serve.The waiter picked a great wine for me. The trout was great. My mom ordered the duck it was great. The elk meatballs were justokay they needed more seasoning . I ordered the artisan bread basket it was great. We also ordered the special appetizer ofmorel mushrooms on bread it was fantastic! I rarely give 5 stars...I was a bit surprised given some of the other reviews, however it did not disappoint. Menu was small but... well rounded. What they did they did exceptionally. Huge range of wines! Service was great. Only con was the dessert, was notsomething I would go there specifically for but was not terrible by any means. Parking could be a problem...we found it hard tofind parking on a Saturday night but thats to be expected. Definitely would recommend making a reservation. Read more
Update: We spent 3 days in the Valley during Christmas and decided to have dinner here twice. Tundra once exceeded our... expectations. The food, service, and value are unmatched anywhere. Just go there. This is a special restaurant in the making.We didn’t know this when we made reservations but hearing that it was relatively new (two years) we asked several locals abouttheir experiences. We received great reviews. I’m summary, the service, food and experience exceeded our expectations byfar. The menu is excellent, wine list unique and reasonably priced and the setting perfect for any occasion. The calamari wasamazing and when we thought that dinner couldn’t be better the trout simply blew us away. As for dessert, well, it was aperfect ending to a superb evening. We can’t wait until we return. It’s warm and casual and so it poses little threat to afine dining experience but it may just be one of the top restaurants in the entire Sun Valley area. We absolutely loved our dinner at Tundra. Everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. My sister loved the rack of lamb... and my scallops were delicious. Best part - they seriously cater to gluten free! My only hang up are the prices, but otherwise -great food! Read more

We have been here 3 times now, this year alone. Going closer to opening is much slower and quiet. The first time we visited was... around 9PM and every table full. Amazing atmosphere. Great wines. Cozy. By far my favorite foods. We've had the Artisan Breadstarter, as well as a Bruschetta. The Trout has been our *FAVORITE* SO PERFECT every time. The Gnocchi while a lighterdish/starter is what won me over my first visit, and brought us back the second time. Menu usually has the same dishesavailable. It does change sometimes. Creme Brulee - Perfection Carrot Cake - Unlike anything I've ever put into my mouth. Mostexpensive visit was this latest one at $63 before tip, and that was with a starter, a glass of wine, entree, and desert. Willvisit every time. Read more
