Reviews for Central Taco and Tequila in Haddon Township, NJ
First time trying this place. Esthetic was great. The look of the place was great. Plenty of seating outside at picnic table... area or on back deck overlooking trees and the train. Plenty of indoor seating and a bar which you could also eat at. Food wasexcellent. Will definitely share this place with family and friends and recommend they try it. Our waitress was really good andservice getting all of our food and drinks was quick. Read more
Cool, fun atmosphere. Margaritas were excellent. I like that the portions are small so you can try lots of different tacos. We... had the Korean short rib, carnitas, and brussel sprout. All were very tasty, but the brussel sprouts were a little over cooked. And the salsa that was supposed to be spicy was more like a low medium. Read more

First time here, but I've driven past at least 300 times because it's on my way home from work. I always have wanted to try this... place because it is always HOPPING in the evenings when I passed it. Well I outsmarted the crowds today and lunch is the time togo! And it was a beautiful experience. The staff is very efficient and nice, not overbearing at all. Food is delightful and I'dsay top notch quality. Lots of options for everyone, and obviously fresh. Very nice atmosphere. Not a large menu but that was ok for me. Food was good and reasonably priced. Food comes out as it's... made and it was pretty quick after we ordered. Drinks were also good and didn't taste watered down for the price. I definitelyplan on going back. Read more
4.5. They have a lot of great things and some just okay things. It has a cool, hipster millennial vibe to it with a fun... atmosphere. This is not the place to go if you are looking for authentic Mexican. I love the creativity they have on the menuand it makes me want to try everything! The drink menu is especially fun. I had the lemon blueberry margarita. I?m normally nota tequila gal, but this was pretty good. For food, we had the Korean short rib six pack and two al pastor tacos. I preferredthe meat of al pastor. I was not a fan of the double taco shells as they made the tacos a tad dry. The rice was great as a side.We also had the street corn, which unfortunately, tasted extremely bland. The nachos were delicious and probably my favoritepart of the meal. I loved the pickled red onion. Plates are small, but the price point seems to match for the atmosphere.Service was great. Overall, this is a fantastic place to grab drinks and a small bite, although I?m not sure if I would returnsolely for the food. We will definitely return for fun vibes and great cocktails. Read more
My wife wanted to eat Mexican food, and since I saw that this place is always filled with people, I brought her here. Food was... served very quickly. We ordered three tacos and a nacho. All of them were great. Fried Avocado taco was my favorite. It wasslightly spicy but was amazingly good. Sprout Brussel taco was sweet. Brussel was also well cooked and soft. The shrimp coconuttaco was also good. Read more
Came here for dinner with friends on a Friday evening. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The Mexican chicken dip was tasty.... Seasoned perfectly and good amount of chips. I got 2 cocktails, the cucumber breeze and central old fashioned. They werealright. Not that boozy and a little boring. We got several of their tacos. The Korean short rib, spicy crispy chicken, coconutshrimp, shrimp/chorizo, and al pastor. The Korean short rib and shrimp chorizo were my favorites. They were all seasoned reallywell but the tacos are a little small in my opinion. The chocolate sauce churros were nice, a good way to end the meal. Not toosweet and nice and crunchy. Our waitress was attentive and kind. Overall the place has a fun vibe and can get pretty loud.Parking situation is kind of a bummer too with it being street parking only and pretty limited. Wouldn't be my first choice forMexican but wouldn't be opposed to coming back either. Read more
