Amazing restaurant that focuses on quality, taste, and top notch customer care! Prices are also very reasonable and portion... sizes are more than enough. I have some dietary restrictions and so called the restaurant beforehand to see if they couldaccommodate. I ended up speaking with the owner who really took the time to understand my needs and made sure the food wasprepared exactly as needed. I ordered the seafood pancake, bibimbap, and spicy squid stir fry and all were some of the best thatI?ve ever had. Lots of fresh seafood and vegetables in all the dishes! Food was amazing! I was craving Korean food and this place popped up. My friend recommended the sushi there so I figured I'd... give it a shot. The bibimbab and bulgogi were excellent! The tempura is crunchy and perfect. The ramen is legit, probably thebest you'll find outside of Edgewater! The inside looks really cool and although seating is efficient, it doesn't seem overcrowded. This is a small "mom and pop" place that consistently serves delicious sushi/Japanese/Korean dishes. My family has been coming... here since it first opened about 6 years ago. Every dish and every meal has been very good and Little Tokyo does notdisappoint. We bring friends here for small gatherings and friends who have never eaten here because we can count on the factthat we will have a delicious meal. We usually start with the miso soup that consistently has the perfect miso flavor (not toowatery nor too salty) with just the right amount of small pieces of tofu and scallions. We also recommend the shrimp andvegetables tempura appetizer that's really enough for a meal with rice. Great crunchy breading on the shrimp and vegetables witha flavorful dipping sauce. All the rolls we've tried have been great, even the basic California roll and sweet potato roll. Andsome of our specialty roll favorites are the Mango Tango, Piano, and Dragon rolls. Each has its unique flavor that bursts inyour mouth as you take a bite. And the specialty rolls are all beautifully presented. As for the dishes, the teriyaki chickenand steak are solid, although some may find the sauce a bit sweeter than other teriyaki dishes at other Japanese restaurants. Wealso like the Korean dishes bibimbop and bulgogi, both also full of flavor that's authentic Korean. My son likes the Udon(noodle soups) that's great during the cold weather. We order take out quite a bit also, and the food is just as good and arevery well packed (the rolls are also nicely presented in their "to go" containers). The only minor thing to note is that thetempura may lose some of its crispness if left in the container too long. Also, the price is very reasonable forsushi/Japanese/Korean cuisine. The place is nicely decorated and very clean. Ordered a take out platter "Little Tokyo for 4" for a family birthday celebration. Was a actually enough for 6. I was so very... pleased, they gave extra pieces as well as soup and salad to complete our meal at no extra charge. Even allowed us to customizeour platter with special rolls. The food was very good. We liked the Korean salad and the sushi was very good. They have a gnat problem. Killed about 10 while... there for dinner. This is a big turn off for me but if you do not mind it, the food is a 4.5. Service is not great - emptydining room and had to wait for water. Read more
