Oh my goodness, I haven't had an IHOP experience in years. I have to share this.. had such a great great meal there,besides the... amazingly sweet and professional waitress..The kitchen was completely open and immaculately clean...two thumbs up forservice,staff, meal and absolutely kind manager. Probably the most unpleasant experience I've ever had eating out with children. Our waitress got our drinks and then never came... back to get our order. After waiting over 30 minutes after receiving our drinks, I had to get someone to come take our order atwhich point we were given a different waitress (she was great). We had some very young special needs children in our group andthe table behind us was recording the children from our group exhibting repetitive behavior, snickering at them and making funof them. I have never been made to feel so uncomfortable in my entire life. We didn't finish our meal, and we paid and left. Idid speak with a manager after and brought this to his concern and he apologized for our experience and said he'd address thegroup. I didn't bother to stick around as I was simply too angry and knew of I'd stay, I'd curse someone out. Unfortunately,people can be so ignorant and offensive. I'd like to think race had nothing to do with it, but I'd be naive to think that groupwould've done the same thing if we were white. Read more
I have eaten almost everything on the IHOP menu located in Englewood. The food is prepared well to your satisfaction. The food... is warm when delivered, tasty & delicious. That's why we go back. Food not as advertised. Burnt fried chicken, fries luke warm, took way too long to receive food. Every single one of dishes had... to be adjusted from incorrect orders to food not being hot. Server only came by once after ordering and that was just to dropoff the check. Didn't even finish eating the dish. Management tried to correct orders but this is just poor training. Not impressed at all. EXTREMELY bland food. While I'm not generally a fan of breakfast, we figured we'd surprise my family with... breakfast from IHOP. "Surprise! Here's the cardboard you ordered!" Based on the "quality" of food, we will not be returning. Read more
They have a specials menu, 9.99 for a bagel with cream cheese and a side or 12.99 for meat, egg and cheese on a bagel? That... side is not worth $7 b/c i can get an excellent bagel down the street for $3. Get out, prices are too high for breakfast food.We ended up ordering two French toast platters and I noticed all there portions have been reduced to a smaller size. Idk used tobe an affordable place but that's a no now. 2 coffees and 2 meals came out to $37 plus tip. Read more
