The fish and chips were the best I have ever had! My wife had the lobster ???? stuffed mushroom caps and could not believe how... flavorful they were. Stopped here for lunch after driving through Peggy?s Cove. Super busy spot ? but we got a table easy. Nice view of the harbour.... Had the fish and chips, lobster club house, Turkey club and the seafood chowder. Good was delicious and portions were generous. Read more

Somebody here really knows how to run a great diner. We got the last table on the deck and menus were brought promptly. Looked... like one guy and a bus boy were the only wait staff so I was prepared for delays but everything arrived promptly, hot, fresh andvery tasty. My chowder had real depth of flavour, salad was crisp and not over dressed. My companions clams and chips were asgood or better than we'd ever had anywhere. Big chunk of fresh lemon, which I always appreciate with fish. Wish we'd had timefor dessert. Very much looking forward to our next visit and trying other menu items. Calamari was great, I think they could get a little more creative with the sauces, great tartar sauce though. Decent lobster... roll, the coleslaw was a little heavy but to each their own. Overall it was a great experience and perfect diner style food. Read more

Attentive but not pushy service. Delicious food! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, while my friend's chowder was... really tasty, too. The coconut cream pie was yummy. The homemade rhubarb pie with caramel drizzle was an unusual andsuccessful creation. The interior is pleasantly nostalgic, without being too kitschy for comfort. I will definitely return infuture. My favourite restaurant over the last 13 years we lived here, and there are 3 restaurants closer to us! The Diner's lobster club... sandwich is the best in NS. I even have a T-shirt that says "Finer Diner" on it...how's that for loyalty? Look at the photo ofthe Club we had last night. Read more
