This place is outstanding! Best BBQ we?ve had since being in the area. They catered for a farewell for us today and everything... was on point! The pork and chicken were both perfectly done, delicious and moist and full of flavor! Sauces were incrediblealong with the baked beans and other sides! Many compliments on all of it and any leftover spread was quickly packed up bypeople to bring home. Lol. Their prices are so good and they even give a military discount! The owner made everything pleasantand smooth. We will absolutely be using them for all of our BBQ needs! Read more
So disappointed ????. Was truly hoping for off the spit BBQ. The chicken and pork was dry , with No taste. Turnip greens... needed massive salt and pepper. BACON grease would have helped if they added it. The HO cake was gross, NO flavor, dry andcold. EVERYTHING WAS BLAND, won?t be back. This was a ONE and done. Good food for the price. Being from Louisiana I?m not use to flat cornbread. We got (2) 2 meat plates with 2 sides. The ribs ,... sausage and brisket were very good. The baked beans had a good flavor. The potato salad was ok. I like the fact that it is smallplace. Nothing fancy. Atmosphere has a country feel. People are very nice. If you are passing by I suggest stopping in to trythe food. Read more
I've had some wonderful BBQ all over the US and don't hesitate to say that this is among some of the best I've had. The meat was... perfectly cooked and seasoned and their 2 vinegar based sauces were wonderful. Definitely hitting this place up more often. Read more
Food was REALLY good!. Hot and seemed to be fresh. Had really good flavor. After my main order, I went back to the counter and... ordered more side dishes just to sample them. Hubby even got more ribs to take home. 2 plates with 2 sides & a bread another 1/2order ribs, 1/2 order sausage, and 1 side to take home w/ the delicious hot sauce (dipped my sausage in it, yummo! )...with 2drinks cost around $35. Well worth it. We will go back. Clean and Friendly!!! P.S nice sized portions for the most part...somethings could be a little more portioned. Read more
