Reviews for Savona Restaurant, King of Prussia in Gulph Mills, PA
My experience at Savona was nothing short of amazing. From the valet parking down to dessert, the service was phenomenal. We... were celebrating a birthday and the restaurant staff made it a special evening. I was so impressed with how well the food wasprepared and tasted. You could tell that a lot of time and preparation goes into choosing their ingredients; You’ll knowwhat I mean when you try ANYTHING that they serve. I highly recommend the scallops and the calamari. Thank you so much for a 5star dining experience, Savona. I will be back in the near future. Read more
5 stars for John's espresso martini. We were having dinner Thursday night when I ordered what was the highlight of my dinner; ... an espresso martini crafted by John the bartender. Great conversation too! Read more
Recently hosted my baby shower at Savona and coordinated the event with Christina! The whole thing was absolutely spectacular!... Christina is amazing to work with and had everything setup perfectly. The staff was friendly and attentive to my guests -several guests commented on their favorite staff member and the friendliness. The FOOD was AMAZING. Every plate that went backwas clean. The salad, entree, and dessert could not have been more perfect so HUGE THANK YOU to the kitchen and chefs! We wereable to bring in balloons, provide flowers to Christina so she could put together flower table arrangements, have a table forgifts, and a table for games! Our guests were seated comfortably. Again, could not have asked for a more perfect afternoon.Savona was incredibly accommodating to our needs. We love dining at Savona in general because the food is always delicious buthosting this special event at Savona and it going so, so well only makes us want to dine there more! Thank you so much!!! Its a very beautiful resturant that seems upscale. Parking is only valet which caught me off guard. The food is nice. I wouldn't... say best food I ever had but not bad. A bit pricey but the portion sizes are pretty large. Favorite was the oysters, soooooooofresh. The calamari was spicy and sour so would depend on if you're into that. The short rib was huggggggeeeeeeee, definitelycaught off guard but did taste a bit less seasoned. The shells tasted good but didn't actually have much pasta in it, but a lotof chickpeas and chicken! ???? Savona- KOP. Here goes one of my more detailed reviews so buckle up (or keep scrolling...) One of my most... solid-splurge-worthy places. We came here on an extremely windy and chilly day and still were warm enough to be able to takeour jackets off. They have a massive, heated tent with very spaced out tables with a big open side....if you are beingcovid-cautious but still want to feel like you are fine dining and want some protection from the elements then this is anexcellent choice. The generators are quite noisy.....it would have been nice if they had some nice relaxing music to add to theambiance so you didn't just have to hear generators. Their tent feels very upscale with the plants, lighting and billowy silkson top. They also have extremely comfortable chairs and sofas in the tents to sit on. ???? We ordered the wood-fired octopus, salmon tartare, braised short ribs, plain pasta with butter, duck with roasted Cauliflower, French Green Lentils, Cherry Jus,drinks and desserts. The octopus was cooked and flavored perfectly... which is a very tricky dish to get the perfect texture ,although the accompanying greens on the dish were way over-peppered (which I mentioned to our server, she replied she would "letthe chef know" without offering to fix it or send it back which I found a bit odd. The Salmon tartare with avocado-lime creamsauce on top... I think the sauce overpowered the salmon but it was still very tasty. The duck was just spectacular... italso came with mashed potatoes which were almost cold, but still delicious. They have an outstanding wine and cocktail programhere. The whiskey sour was crafted to perfection.... not too strong. I can't remember the exact white wine I got, but itwas whatever the server recommended with the duck and also paired perfectly. ???? For dessert we got the mango sorbet, cheesecake brownie and Blood Orange Creamsicle Cake with Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Crunch. I thought it would have a lot morechocolate Read more
Food and service in restaurant are great! But I have 3 stars because valet parking is mandatory, even during COVID. It makes me... uncomfortable. Plus, the valet parking person was not wearing mask, and I don’t see any sanitizer near them. Read more
Absolutely one of the best experiences we've had at Savona and anywhere for that matter. Ate outside in the large tent. Felt... like a wedding. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Everything came out hot and fresh and perfect. Celebrated ananniversary and it was a perfect spot. (Note: steak entree was only half. They split it in the kitchen) Read more
This review is long overdue, considering how frequently we are guests at the restaurant. Two words sum up the experience... —consistent excellence. Under Papi’s leadership, Savona has catapulted to our go to place for a quiet dinner, a fun dinner,or a raucous get together. The food is always stellar. I’m a big fan of Dover, sole, and each time I get it here, I can’tbelieve that they knock it out of the park every time. When I stray away from my favorite, I am equally impressed. My wife hasa food allergy, and each time, they cheerfully accommodate her restriction. The waitstaff is knowledgeable, professional, andthey know how to read the table. There is a reason that we have been dining here almost weekly, for months. Read more
