Great experience. We were here from Alabama to pick up relatives from airport and we had time to kill. The waitress, Anna, was... extremely sweet and accommodating running up and down stairs for us. We started with the pulled pork nachos. Excellent. Thenshrimp and grits(me) and friend got pasta marinara. Both excellent. Friend ordered a second nacho to take home for tomorrownight. Was hanging out at Chandeleur Brewing with my lovey and used their table menu to order delivery/take out from Cadillac, and it... was the worst food service experience I've had in a while. After about an hour of waiting and no delivery turned up, we askedthe bartender if that wait was normal. She said it wasn't, and offered to call them for us. They didn't answer. I tried callingmyself a few times over about 15 minutes, but no answer. Decided to take a walk over and the girl was walking out the door withour order. Looked pretty quiet in there. She apologized and we took our food back to the brewery to enjoy. We had asked forranch in the app to go with the wings, but there was none, no veggies or anything. The buffalo was nice and spicy,though! Pretzel had no salt, though it was big and tasty. Only mustard was provided, no queso as the menu had suggested. Thechicken wrap was very bland, dry, and slim with something that looked like an albino tomato, very white. Not even a ketchuppacket for the fries. Quality and service made me sorry I had chosen the 20% tip option, I sure didn't get treated well for it!That was a tough $50 spend for what we got. Read more
We arrived at 5:45 to a semi empty restaurant. Got seated quickly and our server even got our drinks quickly. But for some... unknown reason to us, it took 35 minutes for our 4 appetizers to show up. Then not very quickly the remaining 3 appetizers cameout. We ordered our entrees around 6:45, and ended up getting it packed up to go because by 7:10 we still didn't have ourentrees. It was mainly pasta and salad ... I'm not sure what the problem was because it wasn't very busy, and everyone else wasgetting their food. Just not our table of 6. Overall the food tasted fine, maybe a smidge overpriced, but the wait waspreposterous. We were there an hour and forty five minutes and ate 6 appetizers (two of which was burnt queso) and had 3drinks. Basically don't come here if you're in any bit of a rush. Read more
The food here is up to par with any 5 star restaurant I have ever been too. I have spent 150$ on a meal for 2 and here it's a... 3rd of the price for as good or if not better of a meal. My server and waitress (shelby and anita) were the most amazing to diefor dull. I highly recommend this restaurant for either a family or date night. If you see Mr Rob give him a good handshake andlet him know how amazing the place is. Also there is a sky bar sorry I did not go. Read more
So my husband and I decided to stop by and have some dinner here at The District on The Alley and we truly enjoyed ourselves,... our waiter Jimmy was awesome the food was amazing my husband had the Blackened Red Fish and I had the Shrimp I have to say I wassuper impressed with the interior love the quaint country style feel of the location the menus are super unique printed on PaperBags. This restaurant is still new and has only been opened a little over a month so please be patient with them as they arestill working the kinks out but I do believe once everyone has settled into their positions and rythem they will be flawless.Will definitely be back... First time here for husband and me. Delicious deviled eggs; the meatball in marinara sauce with angel hair pasta was fantastic.... Recently opened, The District on the Alley was a success for us at every level. Our server was super friendly and helped suggest... several dishes. And all of the food was EXCELLENT. The Cheese Bomb appetizer was great, for two people. (The dipping sauce wouldhave been delicious on anything.) The District Burger was enormous, well seasoned, and perfectly prepared. The shrimp basketwas also huge and the homemade chips rocked. Big congrats to Chef Alonso and his staff for raising the bar in downtown Gulfport! Read more
