Only went to the restaurant. Got there as they opened for lunch. Nice outdoor dining area. 4 stars due to somewhat slow service,... but then, we were the only ones outside. Planning on going back! Food is good! Read more

-The location is great! -The atmosphere is okay if a band was there (but it wasn't) so with that being said it was too dark... (couldn't really see) it gave me club vibes with baby shower food serving! The prices are NOT matching the amount ur beingserved -The Food was a bit overrated the greens was good, I ordered pasta ???? Wrong idea I received a bowl of soup withunseasoned shrimps in it (which I ask for chicken an my order was repeated back too me)???? the boom, boom shrimps were okay I'vehad wayyy better & The Lamb was quite tasteful -An my server was in her own world to say it was a handful (4) of us in thereshe overlook us quiet often ???? - An whatever u do Make sure u CHECK UR Receipt! The Almanett Hotel & Bistro has to be one of my all time favorite restaurant on the Gulf Coast. They serve the best Spinach Dip,... Lollipop Lamb, Mac& Cheese and Catfish. I can go on and on about this place. What I enjoy even more is the customer service.Everyone is always pleasant and constantly willing to accommodate you in anyway. My ?Spotlight Person? goes to 2 beautifulladies; Bo and Angel!!!! These two ladies are amazing to have serve you when visiting the Almanett. They energy is amazing, theyalways smiling and they have the ability to make you feel ?welcome?. They are very knowledgeable about the menu and are goodwith paring things together. Ask them anything and I?m sure they will point you in the right directions. Please drop in andenjoy the experience I had, make sure you say to Bo and Angel. Always remember ?Just Be? kind to them. We were greeted by Mike!! Pleasant smile and a welcoming spirit. My mom and daughter was thrilled with the home environment of... the cottage, Sandy! The food was delicious ???? from the restaurant, especially the Lollipop Lamb Chops. The location is veryconvenient. We visited the Aquarium which is within walking distance, exactly two blocks. And the view of the beach from theHotel balcony was spectacular! We will be visiting again soon! Overall, a great family vacation!! Read more

I was born and raised in Gulfport. So, coming back home for a family reunion I was delighted to stay in a black own hotel in my... hometown. However, I was very disappointed. I paid for a deluxe Queen bed and got a full bed. It smelled like old mold, thefloor were creaky, and the doors were sticking. The food was mediocre and I didn't feel comfortable being there. I wouldn'trecommend nor will I stay here again. Signed, Disappointed ???? Read more

Spinach and Artichoke Dip fabulous. Unhappy with Seafood Platter. There was no wow factor in taste and or presentation. Didn't... try drinks. My first experience. Atmosphere quaint. Will try again Read more

$8 for a tiny cup of gumbo that really didn't have any flavor past the taste of peppers. Other than that, everything else was... great. The fried shrimp were well seasoned and had great flavor despite being a touch overcooked. The collards were just likegrandma used to make and the cornbread was perfect. The bread pudding was close to the best I've tasted. Service was on pointand made sure I was back out in time to get back to work Read more
