My husband chose the perfect place for a birthday dinner!! He loved the fried alligator, and I enjoyed the tasty crab cakes. We... both had the seafood platter, which was hot, yummy and well seasoned. The experience was great and the live band was a funbonus. Service was good but slow. I ordered a Hurricane which looked great but lacked any kind of flavor, very weak. Ordered Alligator... Bites and Oysters on the half shell. We all had turtle soup. All of that was great. My son ordered a shrimp po-boy, while mywife ordered the pasta jambalaya. They both loved their food. I ordered the soft shell crab platter with two big ole crabs. Ididn't even finish it. The only complaint about my meal was the fries and hush puppies were on the bland side. Wife and Ifinished with bread pudding and teramasus. The raw oysters are awesome! Also loved the fried ones, they were perfectly cooked still soft and juicy on the inside, the poboy... was mediocre I wouldn't waste your time on it - get the oysters. The atmosphere was great, serving staff was very attentive, andwe enjoyed sitting on the back deck. We'll be back! Read more
First off google maps gave me the most convoluted instructions forgetting there. Fourtunately because the place is so big, I saw... it from the beach, ditched google maps and maneuvered my way there. Had to go up 2 flights of stairs to get into the restaurantbit they do have handicap access. Once in I took a seat indoors by the window so I could see the gulf. The restaurant had a nicelunchtime crowd but my server was quick and the food came quickly. I got char grilled uysters and the oyster platter. The chargrilled oysters were served with a half loaf crispy fluffy bread to sop up the juice! which was yummy! The fried oysters wereseasoned perfectly. Not too salty and the breading was not too thick. They were served over hot crispy well seasoned fries witha small side of cole slaw and some hush puppies. I can't complain about anything. The price was on point for the serving size.The service was also great. It seemed like they were working together to make sure the guests were well taken care of. I highlyrecommend it. Read more
Here for lunch. We had 3 different oysters and the calamari. The raw oysters were my favorite. Love the clean taste, but the... other two were great as well. Our waitress, Dawn, was very helpful and sooo nice. She explained each type of oyster and maderecommendations. Thank you Dawn! It was all great. We plan to be back. Read more
Slow Tuesday night.. me and my son decided to go to Felix's for dinner. Our server was Leanna. Super sweet and attentive. She... made sure we had everything we needed. My son ordered the catch of the day which was trout. He got it grilled with side ofcheese grits and French fries. I ordered garden salad with ahi tuna. Everything was delicious! Felix's is a wonderful spot for cocktails and fresh seafood. Just beautiful at night! The views are incredible. Had the Gulf... Shrimp with Cheese Grits, both of which were fresh, well-prepared and tasty. The service was a bit slow, but overall a greatexperience. Huge space downstairs for events, which is nice. Parking is plentiful as well. Read more
