The food is authentically delicious. The husband and wife owners are very nice. The restaurant just needs some tender loving... care for appearances sake. However we dined in and, for the most part, enjoyed our experience there. I do recommend thisrestaurant and will definitely visit again, however it?s best as a takeout rather than a dine in. NOT A FRESH FOOD FOR SURE.. I DONT RECOMMEND ANYONE. This is not South Indian food at all.. went with family and wasted 260$... ,store internet was not working owner asked for cash or zella, smart way of making money.. My mom is vegetarian and they saidthe manchurian curry goes with naan but how ???????they gave veg manchurian appetizer Look at the pics? and I mentioned allspice food she replied I don?t listen as music column is high, is that my responsibility to decrease column when unable to hearproperly ?? When I pass on this to the owner she (merry)doesn?t care and the men too. Tea is 90% water and little teapowder Uncooked and non healthy chicken. We orders appetizers and main dishes but we end up eating desserts ???? all the curryare dipped with sugar serum. Keeping all this a side they are not able to listen for customers feedback. In St Pete from out of town and saw this restaurant online. I'll say this: This place is way more than meets the eye. The quaint... casual atmosphere hosts some of the best Indian food in St. Pete. We had goat qorma, chicken Tikka, a massive Naan (about12-14") to share, and a Chai tea to finish it off. The owners are incredibly kind and gracious, and everything was delicious.Great experience! Really needed an Indian restaurant here in the St Pete downtown area. The food here is very good and good portion size too. Not... a lot of seating space but perfect for carry out. They also carry some Indian spices same groceries which is amazing! Me and myhusband loved it and will definitely be back for some more. The owners sometimes take orders even when they are closed! It's a restaurant & grocery store combo. The typical restaurant ambience is not there. It's one of the best places that I know... to get Indian food in Pinellas County, if not the best place. One of the best way to judge Asian food Is how they cook the mostbasic items, rice. For Indian, it's rice and naan. This place got them both down. If you love garlic, the garlic naan isamazing. I didn't try the typical dishes like chicken masala or butter chicken. I opted for the Pakistani beef dish (beefhaleem) and chicken saag. Both were amazing. The husband and wife team run the place and also are the cooks. Lovelypeople. Each dish, plus rice or naan, was enough for 2 people. Oh my goodness, we had a delicious dinner here. Living in Los Angeles we have tried a variety of Indian food but this was our... most authentic and enjoyable experience EVER. The owner is delightful and the outstanding menu has great variety. We loved everybite! Plus, the serving sizes are very generous. What a find for out-of-towners. BTW, the location looks more like a market thana restaurant. It is actually both. You will order at the counter before you sit. The area has a funky & arty vibe going on. Wow!!! This is the real authentic Indian food! What a fantastic flavorful dinner. My husband and I came to visit 1st time, and... everything was so tasteful, he got chicken tikka masala and garlic naan, I got tofu tikka masala (vegan), the dishes came withdelicious long rice topped with fresh cilantro! We got gulab jamun to go (the main dishes were so generous that we needed topack to go as well). It?s cooked at the moment you order, totally worth the short wait. Coming back soon! The owners are a husband and wife... duo and are super nice and knowledgeable about any diet you may have and will customize your order for you. They servetraditional Indian meat dishes as well. They can also make you weekly meals if your interested in meal prep options. Insidethere is a market to for any Indian products / ingredients you may want to pick up for home. Highly recommend checking thisplace out. The only small negative of course is the $16.99 meal price.
