A very clean place with trendy decor and a pleasant crew. On a busy street in St. Pete, I stopped in for a Flipper's Big Pie... pizza and a brick-fired Italian Club Sandwich. What a beautiful looking pie. Great sauce, great cheese, good meats and freshveggies! The crust...not so great. Definitely not hand tossed, thick and chewy on the bottom and seemed to be rolled out withone of those rollers with bumps on them. It did have a great char on the sides. To my surprise, the italian sandwich is madewith the same crust used for the pizza. Too thick for the skimpy amount of meats. My plate, after I ate the sandwich, was agraveyard of thick chewy crust I spit out as I went. I never did taste the meats and if it had cheese, I never saw it. Not mykind of pie or sandwich. Worst pizza experience ever!! We have been loyal customers here for a little over a year now. I?ve probably spent over a $1000... since. The last two visits were bad and this visit today just did it for me. I always pay extra to get double cheese, today theycharged me but did not include extra cheese. Flat out tried to lie to my face that they put double cheese. I?ve been here waytoo many times to know the difference. I will not support a business that steals and lies about it. I visited Flippers last week with my family. We arrived for a late lunch. I love pizza and am quite picky about my pizza. This... place did not disappoint. We had half Flippers Big Pie, half Carne di Italia pizza and the Farmers Market salad. The toppings onboth were fresh and of great quality. The crust of the pizza was great, so crusty and tasty. The sauce was delicious. It wasjust as amazing meal. This was my first but definitely not last visit. I'm looking forward to returning. Read more

First time here tonight. Got the margarita pizza which I always do when trying out a new pizza place. This is generally a good... test. It was absolutely perfect. Made in the traditional style with fresh mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes, fresh basil andolive oil drizzled over the top. It was cooked perfectly in a brick oven. I ordered the California pizza that was recommended to me by Page and it was SO good! First of all, I called and asked if they... had cauliflower crust and they did- THANK YOU- and I asked Page for her recommendation. She was so enthusiastic to help medecide that I got excited. Ordered a Arugula Prosciutto Mypie pizza like I always do. My pizza arrived with the wrong crust but worst of all the arugula... that was put on it was literally rotting. Yellow, with black freckles all over them. Shocked, I called to speak with thesupervisor and she said that her owner approved the rotten arugulas today and that we should have no problem. It?s verydisappointing that no one could drive couple blocks down to the supermarket to grab some fresh Arugula to save their IMAGE AS ARESTAURANT.
