My husband is really picky about coffee, and this place has been deemed acceptable! A great place to work and hang out.

Visiting from SC stopped in for a smoothie and Açaí bowl. The Good: toppings and size of açaí bowl were good. Staff... friendly. The Not so Good: smoothie tasted like water with ginger. Could not taste any other fruit. Asked staff about it andthey replied ?that?s how we make it?. Offered to make it with milk but not sure how that would have helped. Literally tastedlike frozen slushy water with ginger. Açaí was pre made and frozen in bowl. Toppings then added on top. Made it difficult toeat since it was pretty solid. Used to freshly made açaí in SC so it?s more the consistency of soft serve vs a hard frozensherbet. Sadly I wouldn?t return or recommend. Read more

The empanadas were good but tiny. The coffee was okay and the Wi-Fi was terrible. I had to keep reconnecting while studying... there and eventually left to get work done. Read more

Their smoothies are ok. Their breakfast bites are very small. It can take some time for your order to be served from the moment... you make the order to when you finally receive it. Read more

Amazing coffee cafe in downtown St. Petersburg. The design is light and bright, a modern mix meets Hawaii with a flair. The... hanging chairs are a favorite along with the chess sets. Try their kava which is served in half coconut shells. I had a cortadoand avocado toast for breakfast. The coffee blend is smooth and delicious! Read more

I?m not always comfortable at kava bars, but I really love the vibe at Driftwood! It?s more of a vibrant café with lots of... options for refreshments. I enjoy posting up and doing work, meeting with friends, or having a breakfast sandwich or açaí bowlwith my coffee or kombucha. Read more

My mom and I just tried this coffee shop for the first time this weekend and it was absolutely amazing! Lovely seating indoors... and out. They have some pastries and cookies in a window, but they also have a food menu. I tried the bacon, egg & cheese on acroissant and my mom tried the avocado toast - AMAZING! Our lattes were very rich and tasty as well. I highly recommend thisplace! The one thing that put me off was the automated tip percentages that populate after inserting a card.... The lowest was20% with a caption that read "Bare Minimum". At 25% the caption read something like "We could do better". The highest was 40%. Iwould think any amount of tip is appreciated, so I am displeased with this culture of demanding/manipulating more fromcustomers. Read more

I absolutely love this place from the decoration and inside designing, to the friendly costumer service. I found a parking spot... right in front of this place and the whole line of parking in here it?s free. You can park there for free for up to twohours. I got a croissant with eggs and cheese and it was delicious as well as their coffee who they press it there. The priceswere excellent and if I lived there I will definitely go every day to work on my laptop since they have a nice environmentinside. Read more
