Visited this past weekend with family from out of state. Took over 15 minutes to be acknowledged by any staff after walking in... and the place was basically empty. Server had an attitude answering questions about the menu, food was lukewarm as if it wassitting for a while (which would make sense since it took over 45 mins for 3 entrees) and it?s definitely overpriced for thequality. HORRIBLE PLACE!!! The food was cold. The silverware was nasty. There was crusted food still on it?. When I ask for plastic the... bartender finally returns after 20min!! and told me they didn?t have any plastic forks. The bathroom smelt like absolute puke!!and to top it off!! bartender refused me and my friend service and told all her coworkers not to serve us after not tipping for our first shot. we... had intentions of coming back and opening a tab. instead of politely addressing this ?policy? she yelled and gave us a sob storyabout only making 5 dollars and how she can?t pay rent. very unprofessional, i?ve seen other reviews saying bartenders bring toomuch personal baggage to work and not giving proper service and i highly agree. we were also the only black customers at the barso i do believe this was racially motivated because i highly doubt you refuse service to every single person who has not tippedin the past Read more
My favorite place to hang on central. Love the tables outside. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Can't go wrong with... anything on the menu. My friends and I have sampled a lot of the dishes. It's right in the center of the area and great forpeople watching. Read more
I got a BOGO so we decided to try the Crafty Squirrel tonight for dinner. The place was empty and there was one line bartender... to serve both inside and out. They had $5 specials on Crown Flavors but they didn't have any lol. We ordered our handhelds andwaited. They brought my dad his steak sliders and told me they hadn't started mine yet but they were working on it now (why theyhadn't figured that out in the previous 15 min or so is beyond me). It gets better: the guy who brought out the did came back totell me the brisket was still frozen (again, why that wasn't figured out before this is just crazy). He offered some chips andguacamole and I accepted and ordered the hot chicken. He bright the guacamole and chips, which was a decent size order and itwas delicious. I'm guessing it wasn't homemade but for bar food it was above average. The hot chicken was indeed hot and spicy,but it seemed one note.it was a yummy note, though. The chicken breast was juicy and the pickles and coleslaw complemented itwell. Overall, the food and drinks were good, the service was ok and the atmosphere was definitely lacking. Stopped by with some buddies for a celebratory night out. Was charged $105 (without tip) for 9 warm WELL tequila shots served in... plastic full sized cups. After asking to confirm if they were really selling shots from a $20 bottle of tequila for over $11 thebartender just smirked.
