Baba does an incredible job with presentation and experience. The restaurant is stylish, the food is presented beautifully, and... the staff is friendly and attentive. With that said, the food itself falls just short of hitting the mark. The food is fine,but not great. It’s missing that extra spice or texture that could make it taste as good as it looks – and it looksgreat! I’d recommend their baked goods over anything else. Read more
I am so happy that I bookmarked this place on IG so I wouldn’t forget to try it out. I love Mediterranean food and they hit... it out of the park. Everything that I tried was amazing, I won’t be able to spell half of the stuff I ate but I would say tryeverything and share, it is incredible. I was very happy with my experience. I saw this place come up on my IG feed and decided to give it a try! Beautiful outdoor and indoor space, great food and drinks!... Everything we ordered tasted great, was fresh with lots of flavor and we particularly loved the Shakshuka with the Lamb Hash inclose second. The restaurant has comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Tables are are apart and service is excellent. Overall the... experience is good, the drinks, appetizer, entrees and desserts are good. Except I have better rack of lamb elsewhere and it'sless than $40. Read more
The food and drinks were PHENOMENAL. My fiancé said the old fashioned was the best he had ever had, and this is his go-to drink... that he gets everywhere. I have never had rabbit and the rabbit was AMAZING, as was the steak and our halloumi/beet appetizer.Our server Eric was super awesome as well. If I could I'd give Baba more than 5 stars! We throughly enjoyed a delicious meal, plating was spot on, service was outstanding!... This is an airy, beautiful space with lots of outdoor seating as well as indoor seating with a beautiful bar. Octopus is oneof our favorite dishes and hard to find prepared well. It was scrumptious at Baba. I can't say enough except, we're definitelygoing to be back. Thank you for a perfect evening! Read more
Sleek. That was my first impression when I first saw Baba. I was greeted warmly by the bartender, Molly, she was fast, attentive... and very knowledgeable about the menu. I dream about mezze, tapas and sampling menus; small plates just catapult my brain intohappy overload. 10 years in fine dining kitchens does something to a person, you are critical of food in ways most people won'tnotice but at Baba, I was amazed. Every ingredient was perfectly cooked, all flavors balanced to bring out their best qualities,freshness permeated each dish. Octopus is an Achilles Heel to most places but Baba cooked it perfectly. The spread samplerfeatured great portions of three classics, the pita was again impeccable. The portions were ample, I had to bring home leftoversthat I atypically devoured greedily the next morning. So impressed by my experience here at Baba! The desserts here are absolutely the best, infused with interesting and under-used... flavors like rosewater and orange blossom, and always presented like works of art. The HUGE prawns were in the most deliciousbuttery, citrusy, vanilla-scented sauce, and the lamb chops were so perfectly cooked. Everyone here was welcoming, friendly, andtotally helpful with navigating a menu featuring many items I was unfamiliar with. I can't wait to return here soon! Read more
