Cool atmosphere. Our family of 5 LOVED our food. The serving size for the fish is HUGE. it?s expensive but you get a larger... serving. Tacos were incredible. Our waitress Chanel was so kind and wonderful. Everyone got something different and it was allphenomenal. Don?t recommend the fries, they are sub par and greasy. Read more
Cool atmosphere and great service. My food wasn't all that great and I had the steak. I am allergic to seafood but the friends... I was with wanted seafood. They enjoyed their shrimps and tacos. Read more
Food was sub par. Thought we were going to a local hidden jewel. Unfortunately the food was about as exciting as a Long John... Silvers. I happen to love Long John Silvers, so this place was not as good. Purchased a fish and shrimp combo platter for $25dollars. We were expecting a big platter for sharing, but the plate looked personal portioned. It tasted like frozen grocerystore fried fish and shrimp. Mexican Garbage Nachos were a decent bang for 18 dollars, but were saturated in grease. Wifeliked the fish tacos, I wasn?t impressed. Water is straight from the tap and definitely not filtered. Pappadeaux?s is 1000times a better seafood restaurant in a Texas metropolitan area 600 miles from a coast. I guess I expected more from a coastalseafood restaurant. Read more
It's a "one and done" for us. Food was ok - the seafood is not local. The adult beverages were ok, but it's a bit pricey for... what it is. I had a Philly sandwich...nothing remarkable about it. My husband had the shrimp and grits...he said it was good, but not great - he said the green beans were really good though! We feel it's very much a tourist trap. (Gift shop, brandedmerchandise, over priced common foods) There is a photo booth outside the gift shop and that is pretty fun. $5 for two stripsof photos, and we just happen to love the little photo booths - so that's a win for us! They also have live music - and thatwas really nice...but they also had another source of music playing at the same time so it was a bit confusing! One or the otherwould have been great...no need for two sources. It is nice that you can sit outdoors and catch a boat or two going through thecanal. I wouldn't say don't go...just don't expect too much so you're not let down! If you like it then that's great! Read more

We went during the off season (late October) so there was not much going on. But there was no wait, parking was super easy, &... food was cooked & served rather quickly. The shrimp & grits were delicious & filling. I loved the bright colored decor & thefact people could take strips of duct tape, leave a message, & place anywhere in the restaurant. It?s almost like leaving yourmark. I would love to go back during the busier season to take in more of what this place has to offer. It?s right on theharbor, so it?s accessible by vehicle or boat. There also seemed to be a makeshift beach area nearby, but we did not venture toit to check it out. I would come here again! Read more
