Come on in y?all are welcome here! Sassy Bass restaurant and market is located on Fort Morgan road in Fort Morgan,Alabama. If... you like great food in a fun nautical environment then this is the place! Friendly efficient service, great menu for food andspecialty drinks. Family friendly, wheelchair accessible, and ample dirt parking facility. Large covered patio and indoorseating as well as a full bar. Easy to see from the street as you can?t miss the old school bus that marks the spot. Casualattire is more than acceptable. We went for lunch after a painting job and as luck would have it, it was raining when we got in.We had the shrimp and griefs, best I?ve had so far and the new menu item the chicken stack. All I can say is wow! Be hungry asthe menu has a lot to offer for anyone. The market is next door and offers all sorts of grocery items, beer, wine, and liquor,all kinds of novelty items and beach gear. I?m sure the restaurant gets busy so be prepared and traffic on fort Morgan road canbe hectic at times so plan accordingly and be patient. Service was ok but nothing special. She only came by one time to refill our drinks. Fish was really dry and the shrimp bisque... was mediocre. It?s wasn?t a horrible experience but it was nothing like it used to be with top notch food. Definitely not thedestination food joint it used to be. Read more

Stopped for lunch after touring Fort Morgan and our host told us it was a 30 minute wait. After cracking a few jokes, he had us... at our table in fifteen. I had the award winning shrimp and grits meal and it was the best decision I made this whole trip.Food, drinks, and service were all top notch. I will recommend this to anyone visiting the area. I had the fried shrimp from the dinner menu. I was craving shrimp and this filled the craving well. Cocktail sauce was great as... well. My only request would be the shrimp not having their tails and to be butterflied. Read more
