Two months ago I had a nice cold turkey gf wrap. I return Oct 8 and was very disappointed. I was told $4 extra in price was... because they buy the best gf products, so ok I understand. I always pay more but $4 is a bit much for one wrap. My lunch didn?tcome as a wrap but a folded over creation that couldn?t even be cut in half. I unfolded to see 4 slices of cold 1/2 cookedbacon and a hint of micro greens in excessive but tasty mayo and a slather of avocado. I suspect the gf wrap was toward itsend. If u must I hear they have a gf roll, or just select salad, our go to backup. Whatever u do I?d ask them to hold on thebacon. Read more

The Marketplace catered our fall wedding. Brita, the catering manager, was excellent to work with before the event. Then the... actual wedding was perfect, and we couldn't have done it without their help. The servers and bartender were lovely, and the foodwas excellent. We received many compliments on their work. Stopped into the Marketplace on the green in Guilford for lunch. What a treasure this place is. My husband is vegan happily they... had options for him as well. It?s a walk up to the counter and order type of place with many many choices from deli to bakerycoffee etc. Plenty of seating indoors and out. I noticed one of the soups of the day was a creamy carrot and dill needless tosay I couldn?t resist it. It was delicious flavorful and creamy with just the right amount of dill. I asked for the curriedchicken salad on a croissant it was so good a little sweet a little spice everything you?d want in a curried chicken salad. Our favorite spot in Guilford! This place has it all. You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner. For prepared food, they have... breakfast sandwiches, egg plates, burgers, fries, giant salads, chicken nuggets, kids meals, and more. There?s also a pastrycooler with crossaints, muffins, donuts, cookies, cupcakes, etc. Finally, there are really good soups that change daily. At thedrink bar you will find coffee creations, smoothies made with real fruit not those weird mixes some places have, hot chocolatedrinks, teas, and milkshakes. For easy dinner, there are prepared meals to go in the cooler. The butcher has delicious cuts ofmeat and seafood. There are frozen crab cakes and other delights. Plus a cheese and meat cooler and a small selection ofnon-perishable items like pasta and crackers. The staff is always helpful and friendly. There are plenty of tables indoors andoutside. The burger was amazing! Very juicy and flavorful. The fries I ordered as a side were an entire other basket, and they were very... good! The grilled cheese was delicious, as was the Whitfield 77 and the Smoke House. Can't wait to come back! Read more
