Outstanding service! They really go above and beyond making sure that everything is exceptional. The Espresso Martini tasted... like it was made with fresh Espresso. I only wish this restaurant had lived up to our expectations, We were told this was the most outstanding restaurant in... Connecticut by a friend. It was So disappointing that I would be hard to recommend it I?d like to come back eventually and giveit another chance. Maybe it was a bad night. The first thing was the waiter was very abrupt when we asked for separate checks hetold us there was no way. We dine out a lot and never have a problem with that, sometimes we drink more than our friends anddon?t want them to pay for them. He left the the table without taking our drink order or telling us the specials not to returnfor 20 minutes. When we asked where he had been he said he had taken a walk. After ordering our dinner it was not served for 45minutes , at least. But 4 other tables came and left as we waited. The dinner was served cold to three of us, only one came hot.My pappadelle a la casa was swimming in cold milk. The one dinner that came hot was the broccoli rabe and sausage overcavetelli. The brozino besides being cold tasted like scrambled eggs. And the gnocchi was meager and cold. He never offeredany Parmesan cheese nor came back to see if we were happy. All in all out of sync and not even the salads were tasty. How doyou ruin a Caesar salad? By the way, the bread was great! So go have a basket of bread and a cocktail and hopefully you won?tget there while 4 children are screaming nearby. Read more
Wow! First time visiting and I will definitely be back. Everything was delicious from the dark cherry cosmo to the clams casino... to the gnocchi osso bucco. Our waitress, Cindy, was phenomenal and the owner even came by to offer me an extra plate for myshrimp tails. That little extra level of attention goes a long way and I can?t stop raving about this place! 10/10, definitelyrecommend!! Read more
Easily the best dining experience I?ve ever had in Guilford? this restaurant has excellent food and service, my waiter?s name... was Brian and he was maybe the best waiter I have ever had? the food was exceptional! Service was A-1. Our server was professional, efficient and personable. The food was very good. My French martini was excellent.... Although my lobster fettuccine with Alfredo sauce was tasty for the price of $46 there wasn?t a tails worth of meat in there. Avegetable added might be a nice touch. Broccoli, spinach, asparagus tips would have added color and volume to the dish. Dinnerpartner?s chicken Saltimbocca was very good (no complaints.)Some shading needs to be added to the front window. We had dinner here with a couple of friends. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The menu offers a good selection that?s bound... to have something for everyone. Besides the regular menu they have specials. There?s a restaurant side and a bar side that alsohas tables. During the warmer months they have outdoor seating. It?s easy to get to as it?s not far from the Boston Post Rd andis across the street from the town green. We all enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. Read more
My absolute favorite restaurant in the area! Their cannolis (my favorite) are to die for along with their other desserts so save... room! there is excellent service, All their food is delicious and fresh. The chicken dish I always get is unbelievable (inpicture). The atmosphere in the restaurant is perfect, and so was the service! Read more
