We ordered was told 45min to 1hr went at an hr was told 15 more mins they hadn't even started I called 20 mins later instead of... waisting my gas and they still hadn't even started it so I cancelled my order and the one that answered the phone thought it wasok to curse at me and yell because my food wasn't done when I thought it should have been. No it wasn't done after waiting thetimes we were told and still never started then being disrespectful when the person decides to cancel. Never get an order when they say because they always get hit. Forget stuff in orders whether you go in side or pick up at... window. Price is never the same one time it's one price next time it's nether then back to first price. Food sometimes is goodbut most times it's greasy as all hell. Read more
The staff is the BEST at the bar! Specifically Shea and Colt, their personalities are so easy to get along with! They are the... most amazing time, they?re attentive and they always know exactly what you want before you do. Not to mention, they make supertasty drinks! Love this place. I'm very impressed with how the latest owners and staff done with the business. The food now served here is... absolutely delicious and their menu is creatively appetizing. As for the drinks... Made very well, decent selection (esp withbottled malted beverages) and best prices. For bar drinks as well as package. Also the bartenders are great, especially themain night one. Very friendly, fast, and personable... And he can get a good party goin in here if theres a crowd. My first time here at Ben's. Philly with au jus and tots. Food was really good. Service was lacking to say the least. Maybe... it's because we aren't locals, I'm not sure. Our waitress never checked to see if our meals were alright. We had to ask eachtime we wanted our drinks refreshed, and all at the table was having a beer or mixed drink. This is probably the best food Ihave had in Guernsey in the 15+ years I have been coming here for work, but unless they fix the service, I won't be back. Read more
Came in today for lunch and waited 10 minutes before menus were brought over and was told they were only serving pizza. Ok no... problem, we placed our order and waited and waited. 3 tables came in after us and they got their pizzas. Then the lady in thekitchen came out and literally slammed a pizza down in front of us and stormed off without saying a word. The pizza that wasliterally dropped in front of us was the wrong one. We sent it back and was told we were forgotten about, that they are shorthanded and burned out, and they weren't even that busy!!! So we walked out after 1 hour of poor treatment and super poorcustomer service. Such a negative atmosphere and bad vibes throughout this baren walled restaurant.
