I went to this Swiss Chalet and I was highly disgusted. I bought a full rack of ribs and fries for my husband. The fries were... cold and brunt they looked like they were dug out of the garbage and served to us. The only meal that was half decent was what Ibought the Thanksgiving chicken meal. I am not going to eat at this Swiss Chalet again. Read more
Had a couple nice dinners from this location so didn't want to leave a bad review without talking to them, but this location... does not pick up the phone after half a dozen attempts on 2 separate days. Ordered a few meals and Chicken was old and chewy,skin was soggy and yellow and had the guts still stuck on, chicken had no flavor. Fries were burnt but soft. Made me feel sickand ended up throwing the food out. Check for picture. Read more
Ordered the summer special $9.99 which is a 1/4 chicken and I ordered fries well done. I was told because I ordered white meat... and the special was whatever they had on hand was what you would receive. Because I ordered white meat full price whichincluding tax was $17.27. Why not give me the summer special and just charge me for white meat. The fries which I ordered welldone were not well done and just barely cooked. So my receipt says "how did we do today". Not well. I'm in a service businessand if I was like this with my clients I wouldn't have many clients. We have been a customer since the 70's. I can honestly sayno longer a customer. Customer service gave no explanation when I asked why advertise the $9.99 special and not give all thespecial. The location of the take out is not important unless Swiss Chalet wants to contact me. Likely the same in everylocation but I'm hoping not. My advice to anyone ordering ask questions. If I could have given no stars I would have done so. Read more
Great service here recently! Have been a patron of Swiss chalet for a couple of months now, coming here for our family dinners.... Tonight we were served by Emily, who was so kind and gave us excellent service. Would definitely continue to keep going if wekeep getting her! The Crispy Chicken sandwich was bangin' tonight too! I ordered for pickup. Paid online via my Mastercard in advance, as I normally always have in the past (though not in awhile).... When I got there, I was told my payment was not received so I had to pay again?paid via debit, believing them and trusting theirword that something likely happened on my end on my computer (even though I have never had this issue before and am experiencingno issues on my accounts). As I am waiting over 15 minutes in the waiting area past my emailed confirmation pick up time of 5:17pm (wasn?t ready until after 5:30), I see another woman with the same issue come in after me, but shows her credit card and themoney that came out on her phone via an app I suppose, so they don?t make her double pay. They mention this has been happeningto numerous people that evening. When my food is ready, I ask about what I should do (after witnessing this, I was concerned),given I have now paid likely twice for the same meal. I was told to contact my credit card company, and to call the restaurantthe next day and save my receipts to explain the situation.. I get home, and am at this point really frustrated that this hasbecome my ?problem? only to confirm the amount has indeed been debited from my credit card, and now I have paid twice for thesame meal. I need to call tomorrow to get my money back now and explain the whole situation, and likely go back to the locationto make that happen. All in all, I understand that mistakes happen, but when it is happening to numerous people, maybe stop tothink and question your own systems? To charge consumers twice for the same meal is not acceptable, especially if they areliterally showing you a receipt on their phone confirming it was paid. I will update this review if/when this is rectified. Iwon?t be ordering online again, and if I do, will pay at pickup, because this was really a Wednesday headache that will nowcarry forward to tomorrow, over a simple meal. Read more
