We really like the pizza at Roy's. It's confusing because Roy's operates out of Jimmy Jazz which is a bar (owned by the same... people who own Royal Electric next door). So Roy's and Jimmy Jazz are one and the same. Jimmy Jazz used to be a dive bar and, soI'm told, ground zero for the Guelph punk rock scene. But they renovated early in the pandemic and the floors aren't as stickyanymore. I love what they've done with their limestone walls. I will always mourn the passing of a dive bar, but you can't denythat the place is looking great these days. Anyway, most people seem to get the pizza to go or delivered from Roy's, but I'veeaten in too and then you can have a beer and enjoy the limestone vibe. Re the pizza, we've gotten the Double Roni and Fun Guy(fungi, get it?) and they were both delicious. Note that prices are higher here than some other pizza places, but comparable tonearby gourmet pizzerias like Buon Gusto, Bread Bar, and Piatto. They only had one beer on tap when we ate in and that wasdisappointing, but they do also have a bottle shop with lots of exotic local beers in cans and bottles. We tried the NondescriptMint + Chocolate Stout by Farm League Brewing out of Cambridge. It was tasty and on sale for $5 a can. I guess one or twomembers of the Jimmy Jazz/Roy's staff also work at Farm League. So that's a cool connection. The staff were friendly and weenjoyed their beer recommendations. Overall, great pizza for take-out or great pizza and beer for eating in. Read more

Absolutely delicious. The airy, bubbly, light crust was a treat and the flavours in the Fun Guy were out of this world. Kids... loved it, asked for seconds, didn?t complain about all of the toppings. I wish it was a bit more affordable so we could eat heremore often. Read more

They do make excellent pizza. However, Roy's now charges extra for a number of things that used to be included with the pizza -... sesame seeds, spicy honey, parmasean cheese. Pretty absurd to charge a price for your pizza and then add additional charges fornormal ingredients in order to get more $ out of customers. This is almost as bad as Cineplex charging a booking fee online fortickets. Read more

Soggy. Took an hour to deliver. You need your own delivery guys. Like Every other pizza joint. Not sure what the hype is... about. $35;for soggy pizza. I'd say the worst pizza I've tried. Check out the pic. I tossed it in the oven to Crispen thecrust. So I guess $35 to cook your own pizza. Sad. Read more

Roy?s is hands down the BEST pizza joint in Guelph. I?ve been to quite a few places and nothing comes close to them in terms of... taste/quality. Their pizza was fluffy, crispy, and light. The sauce, cheese, and pepperoni compliment their sesame seedcrust/dough perfectly. As of today, I will be a regular customer. Thanks to Roy?s Pizza for the unreal experience! ???? On thatnote, If you?re looking for a new pizza place when it comes to family pizza nights, look no further. This is the place to go! Read more
