Nothing like... being given the whole bottle of Prosecco and a separate bottle of your choice of mix. 3 of us went for lunch on a Monday around noon. Surprised how busy this place was, seems very popular. The decor had a island... vibe and menu items had Trinidadian flavors. Staff were pleasant and fairly attentive. Our order did take awhile but I assumethey weren't quite ready for the lunch rush. We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich and jerk chicken. LOVED IT. Super laid back, cozy, welcoming atmosphere with an island vibe. We went for breakfast. The food was delicious and... well priced (some breakfast/brunch places are astronomically expensive these days!!) My husband had the classic Benny and I hadthe Chicken and Waffles Benny....WOW... so good! The service was excellent too. Everyone is very sweet and it really has awarm family restaurant vibe. I started coughing due to allergies and one of the staff quickly brought a little honey packet forme to sooth my throat. It ws such a thoughtful and kind gesture. We will definitely be back!! Recently found out about this place from Caught in Guelph. I typically get my Jerk Chicken and/or Oxtail fix from another place... but they were closed. Ordered the Oxtail Dinner from here and it was okay. I'm used to Jamaican Oxtail and apparently the spiceshere are different and they're made Trinidad style. It's still good, but the small portion size is a little disappointing.Especially for the price. Next time we'll eat in and try the Jerk Chicken, hearing lots of good reviews on that, and hopefullyportions are better when eating in. Read more

Once again, we stole away for a breakfast date to our favorite spot. Great food, great service, warm family atmosphere. There's... even a kids play area so everyone can relax and take their time with their conversations and such. You know what gets me firedup? The consistent quality! The owner clearly takes great pride and joy in sharing their passion with the community. Thanksagain, we'll be back again soon! Hot Tip???? Ask for a side of the house hot sauce. So good!!! We went early enough for the breakfast and lunch menu, but they did not offer it. There was only the dinner menu. We ordered the... doubles, oxtail and goat. The doubles were so delicious. I loved the curry Chana and the dough! The presentation of the goat andoxtail were nice. It was served with the coleslaw and it was crunchy and so good. I didn't like the oxtail so much. It tastedsweeter than what I'm used to, the pieces were small and not as tender. I did like the curry goat though. I would come back forthe doubles and curry goat again. This place was recommended by my son and it did not disappoint. We had breakfast/brunch and it was something worth craving... for. We will definitely be back to try other food items. Keep up the excellent service, food and atmosphere. Prices were verycompetitive and I even had enough to take for leftovers!
